Homewood Suites by Hilton McAllen

Front desk attendant placed us on 2nd floor without informing us elevator was broken, otherwise we would’ve requested a different floor. Once on the 2nd level the only way you could use the elevator to get back down would be to call the front desk and let them know you needed the elevator. Multiple times after calling and requesting assistance you’d have to wait very long wait times or hope you’d get lucky and someone would just happen to be on the elevator going up or down. Once in the room, the top blanket was stained and the thermostat for the air conditioner was not working. You had to manually adjust the temperature on the ac unit. The breakfast selection was terrible. For some reason they served French fries as a breakfast item, I’m very confused about that choice. Overall this was a dissatisfying stay. I usually choose to book with Homewood Suites whenever I travel as they’re usually a great place to stay, but this visit fell very short in multiple ways.

My husband had found a vape in one of the towels in the restroom after he got out of the shower. I was so glad my kids didn’t found it and touch it

Very good

Having the cookstove and the actual two separate rooms was good. Very clean One of the burners on stove did not work and was not fixed although we were told it would be. We had daily issues with keys not working properly and told the front desk staff but nothing was done. On a few days we requested room service and it was not done despite being told we would get fresh towels.

La ropa de cama no olía muy bien y las toallas se ven algo deterioradas

I loved the rooms and space we had. Everyone was happy. Our family loved having the 2 bathrooms

Everything Was Awesome

Great Staff Everything Was Awesome

My room was great The availability of the shuttle was very helpful

The only difficulty we had was elevator was not working to back down, which is a hassle if you are traveling with elderly. But very comfortable, convenient, great price , nice breakfast.
