Extended Stay America Suites - Atlanta - Mcdonough

When we got in the room the AC was on and set to 60. Way too cold. It took a while to normalize the room temperature. The furniture in the room was nothing fancy, but served the need for a one night stay.

Best stay yet... I only stay at Extended Stay America......

The staff were courteous and very helpful. The condition of the property is poor. We arrived on the 3rd floor and it smelled like weed was planted, harvested, rolled, put in production and was product tested. The smell is so bad that there are air fresheners plugged into the hallways. The room smelled like weed. The bathroom toilet had dried piss on the base of it. And there were roaches! Roaches came out each night when I was making my 2am bathroom run. I mentioned it to staff and they stated that they would have maintenance check out the room. And don’t get me started on breakfast! There is NO BREAKFAST! there are Quaker instant oatmeal, Nature crunch bars, some type of prepackaged mini muffins.and coffee. If they are going to call it breakfast on the go, at least add in fresh fruit and yogurt. Only 2 washers work out of the 4 they had While the price point is good, you realize it’s over priced for poorly maintained building.But kudos to staff who were all very friendly and helpful,. The janitorial staff were extremely nice as well. So this review is for Corporate—get your shizz together and release those coins your tightly hanging on to. Fire your current pest control provider and get another. Get those carpet shampooed and get rid of those orders. Get a sanitizer and deodorizer machine to clean those walls! Get rid of the stink and the bugs Put some apples, oranges, bananas out. Get a waffle maker with waffle batter. Get a small fridge with yogurt.

Hotel is okay…needs renovations. Room was okay until 5:30am when I was awoken with a bug going across my hand. Pulled bed away from wall where I found several more on the floor scurrying. I was packed up and out of room writhing 10 min. leaving at 5:45am. Left keys on counter.

Everything pertaining to eating was nearby. Including shops. I even walked there.

Our room was dirty. A lot of crumbs on the floor. Both beds had stains on the sheets and found hairs everywhere. Very dusty. I will say a lot of other reviews praised the cleanliness of the rooms so maybe we just had an off room.

Breakfast was a joke. No shower curtain.

the location the breakfast was disappointing

- dust and dirt on the nightstand - dirty/stained wash cloth in the bathroom - an insect 'friend' in the sink in the morning - flooding in the bathroom because of a poor shower design - "breakfast" consisting of 2 items - sketchy younger guys walking around the building (inside and outside) at night Needless to say, we will never be staying here again. Nor at any other Extended Stay.

There were no breakfast at the time of my departure. There was a "RAID" and furniture moving with people being held down on the floor. The amount of noise was unexpected, distracting and disturbing. When I opened my door to see what was going on, I was "firmly" told to "Go Back Inside my Room!" This went on from around maybe 8pm to 3am. I could not get any rest. The morning staff (male) was very condescending without an apology or accommodation. When I checked in, the staff was very professional. Thanks to the female on duty.
