DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront

Our stay will be a memorable one because of our stay at the Doubletree Hilton. The rooms were clean, we had a beautiful view of the sunset and sunrise from our room. The staff was very friendly, helpful and informative. We ate at the restaurant Sea Grapes and again the staff was friendly and the food delicious!! We loved our stay!!

Our AC did not work real well which kept our room at a constant 75-78 degrees which sucked. We told the staff about it, but maintenance never came. I got a box fan just to circulate the air. Maybe they fixed it after we left, but that was our only complaint...other than that it was great.

I like that the was a restaurant on site. I like that they have umbrellas and chairs in the beach. I didn’t like they were expensive. The rooms are very specious. Full ocean views.

Staff was very helpful, place was clean. Had an issue with my roo m door and they fixed it pretty quick with no interruptions.

I chose this hotel to expend my birthday weekend and I think was a really good decision because everything was perfect for Summer weekend. Really clean hotel with so helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. I was very surprised that we had an extra charge for parking as we had only 1 car. It seemed to me that should have been included in the original price quote. It would be different if there were several cars with one room, but one room/one car should be one price.

The AC is very cold. The room was clean and organized. The bartender was friendly. I enjoyed the beach access with shower upon returning. The free cookies at check in always put me in a good mood. I would return here for sure.

The best of this hotel is the ocean view in every room with balcony, comfortable room

Room was very accommodating and well laid out. Great for family with younger kids.

Good location on the beach but compared to the other hotels on the beach nearby it fails in several ways. The patio is so thin that the small chair takes up the whole depth that you can’t even walk past the chair and the roaches on the patio didn’t make it better. Only one elevator worked so it was very slow getting up and down. They say they have free internet but you need to be a Hilton honors member. Receptionist forgot to put that on my account. When I went down to ask for it to be added I was confronted with a young girl who told me I was wrong about the internet being free and would not add my Hilton honors number until I insisted and then my request was met with an eye roll.
