The property

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Only issue we had was the Wi-Fi was quite slow. But it was OK for what we needed to use it for. Would definitely check this place out if you are looking for a no frills kind of place to spend a night or two. A short walk to the beach, and a nice Cuban restaurant right next door.

Let me tell you, you cannot be the bang for the buck! The rooms are no frill but exceptionally clean. The best I think is that the place is directly across the street from the beach and the hotels across the street are over 2 times the price and they don't include breakfast either. Highly recommend this place if you are coming to the barrier island just for the beach, you can't beat the price, and I have been living in the area for 6 years!

Well I started off staying 2 nights then 3 then it turned into 5 nights, almost 7 but apps came up. (Shucks). that place is so comfy you don't want to leave. Lol. At first I was driving to the beach down the road, then tried the entrance across the street you walk to and that's when it turned into 5 days. I fell in love. If you love the beach and are a old lady beach bum and don't like crowds and paying a ton of money then this is your spot! You will definitely thank me later ☺️ Well let's see. NOTHING!!!!!

Great price, clean, no fancy amenities and rooms could use some love BUT your here for the beach, right across the street! Cuban restaurant next door was amazing! Will stay again!

Price was low Greasy floors. Funky smell like mold was hidden under paint. It was one of the places where you go and you can't wait to get out.

Very cozy. Very comfy. I felt safe traveling alone. Absolutely nothing

Water leaked under sink and toilet: no plug in sink, no hooks in bathroom for clothes or towels, very noisy fan: no light in the kitchen area: no coat hangers; broken window shutters; door lock stopped working before check out. Whole place showed a lack of care.

The room looked renovated and we didn’t have any issues with cleanliness. The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. Overall, great place to stay and it’s right by the beach and a few restaurants and bars. Overall very good!

Location and price was excellent. Room was clean, friendly and easy check in There were some guests next to our room that were noisy late at night.

location is great - across the street from beach access; typical mom/pop motel - older, no frills; clean room, somewhat comfortable bed; fresh towels daily; clerk was very nice and helfpul; A/C worked well; parking right outside room neighbors outside at night sounded like they were in our room - not much sound barrier; room seemed dark - consider updating lighting in room;

Clean and great location.

Room Amenities: Features a large flat-screen TV, a microwave, and a large fridge/freezer combo. The shower was large with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Comfort & Cleanliness: The bed linens were comfortable, and the room appeared very clean overall upon arrival. Service: The receptionist who checked us in was super friendly and graciously allowed us to check in a couple of hours early. Local Nightlife: It’s an easy walk to Lou's Blues Beach Bar, which was an absolute blast for food and drinks. Value: Highly affordable and a great budget-friendly alternative to other hotels in the area. The Floor: While the room looked clean, the floors needed a deeper scrub; I accidentally spilled some water, and the towel was filthy after wiping it up. Bedding Shortage: There were only three pillows provided for a king-sized bed. Missing Amenities: There was no hairdryer in the room. Basic Toiletries: Bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided, but they are pretty basic. You’ll want to bring your own if you are picky. Missed Opportunity: I didn't get a chance to try the on-site Cuban restaurant!

The lady in the office is very nice, in our room one of our TV’s didn’t work properly, it was blurry, the bathroom had an odor of mold.

Easy check in and out. Very affordable right on the beach. Was very clean. Will use this place again in the near future.
