Sewage smell was so gross down on level one near the pool area.

This hotel is oceanfront and very nice. Onsite parking lot and lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel breakfast was very minimal and charged $4 for a prepackaged muffin. You can rent chairs and an umbrella at the beach.

Great location and decent price. Could use some updates. We were on an upper floor and when got off the elevators the elevator lobbies were very hot. To add to it the AC units of the rooms throw the hot air literally on your face when you walk the open catwalk making them extra hot and uncomfortable. Also, the ice machine are not on every floor and of the floors with the machine less than half of the machines were working. Last, they have a great breakfast room but only serve coffee and toast.

First of all, there was no continental breakfast from 7 AM to 10. Very misleading. There was no restaurant on the property that was opened. Also, they charge for uncovered self parking. There was no covered parking on the property. So just to stay on the property you are charged $17.92 a day for parking at the hotel you are staying at. Ridiculous! Sad to say we won’t be back.

There are chairs & umbrellas for rent on the beach. The café near the lobby serves coffee, mimosas and an assortment of baked goods in the morning. There is a poolside bar that also serves basket foods like burger, chicken tenders and fries, but ***CLOSED ALL DAY SUNDAY*** Confusing late check-out policy. We were a group with multiple rooms. We understand late checkout is not guaranteed, but without consistency, it feels unfair. • Room #1 - Checkout was extended until 3PM at no extra charger. • Room #2 - Extended until 2PM for $100. • Room #3 - Extended until 1230PM at no cost. If extending past 2PM, an additional 1 night fee required. AC in the room is motion scensored during the day until 9PM. Every 20 minutes we had to walk up to the thermostat and the room remained 77° until about 930PM. I appreciate the eco-friendly effort, but it made it impossible for naps.

It was all an okay experience if you will…. The staff were nice the gentleman that checked us in was so very helpful. Our keys didn’t work and he brought us new ones and helped us pick a place to eat for the morning. The room however was dirty almost anywhere to sit had a stain on it. The floors were covered in dirt and you could feel it as you walked. The odd stain in the closet and the hole in the bathroom were off putting….. the resort fee is kind of useless because the resort makes you want to leave. You are paying 3-400 a night for the beach that is it. If you want a good experience otherwise I’d just go somewhere else. The bed was okay the ac and water pressure were good I will say. Just cleanliness was the main thing and we were only there one night… plus the bedroom had no where to charge your phone the tv’s are small and the outlet where there was a charger was just a hole with wires.

Had a great time as always but we did smell like a sulfur smell everytime the air kicked on but other then that it was an amazing time calm and relaxing!!
-
the only bad thing I will say is that their breakfast was only muffins and coffee and that rooms smell not to good at first then you get used to it.

Clean

There was a lot of repairs being done. We had leakage in bathroom 1st night and the smell of sewage was prominent the entire visit. Pool wasn’t very clean.
-
The room seemed clean but had a smell I couldn't get rid of. Amenities are interesting because there are only a few ice machines working as well as a microwave accessible since there aren't any in the rooms. Beach view is always amazing, however. My stay was quiet and with a spray I purchased, I tried to make the room usable. Staff were always pleasant.

Installation of new draperies gave off very bad smell. We were very disappointed as we have stayed here frequently for 10 years. The young lady at desk was VERY accommodating. I hope they remove the draperies soon. We couldn't stay.

No amenities but the room and its view are so beautiful and worth it
-
Beautiful view of ocean with chairs on balcony. Kitchenette with fridge, counters, sink, and microwave. Comfortable bed. No hair dryer and minimal soap and shampoo so make sure you bring your own. Clean

Beach front was amazing

The first room we got as soon as you walk in the smell hit you hard. Real pungent. Notified the desk and they were really pleasant and offered another room. Moved all our things to new room 6 floors up. Walk in and the same issue, same smell. Called down and then was told they just replaced the curtains in the rooms and it couldn’t be prevented. The mini refrigerator did not have power and the freezer was thawed and water all in the refrigerator. I pulled it out and plugged it into a new outlet and worked fine. The hvac has 2 temp settings 71 and 72. But during the day the unit would get up to 79 degrees. At night it was fine. Come to find out they have a daytime setting on the thermostat for them to not come on till it hits 77 degrees. So be aware of this if you are working. Last issue is when checking in they had a cart at front desk that could be used to take luggage up but when we went to leave we were told that the cart is only available with bell service.

You don’t want me to write a review. It was horrible

Great view! But the room and halls were so hot. Rooms smelled like onions. Another person staying in the hotel made a complaint and was told it was the new curtains. The floor in our room could have been cleaned better. We had so many moths and beetles in our room at night. My kids saw them coming out of the vents. Unfortunately, it was not worth the price paid.
-
There was a terrible smell in the rooms. Multiple guests complained. Hotel staff said that management knew about it and it was in the curtains. I would have expected a courtesy complimentary stay when the renovation is over but nothing was offered. Nice hotel but terrible customer service. I barely stayed in the room, except sleep through the toxic smell.
-
For the price I really regret not staying at the Hilton next door. The elevators and staging areas for elivator are very hot with no ac. Room had a slight odor but was clean and up to par outside a few stains on our sheets. Honestly if the price was about half of what we paid it would be a great place to stay but for premium pricing it just isn't worth it. Staff was very friendly and helpful just hotel needs a little work to be the destination it once was years ago.
