Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront

I chose this hotel because in the descriptions it said that it had breakfast included, when I asked the employees to confirm they said no, they did nothing to clarify my doubts about why it was not included when the application said yes. Of everything else, the experience was good

2. when we asked for two beds in a room, they said that we could only have the two beds for part of our stay and then would have to move, my mother-in-law complained, then they decided to let us stay in the room. 3. heavy construction in the hallway outside of our room, with no one letting us know 4. double charged us for parking and then we complained and it was refunded.

We will return!

The property was so nice and right on the ocean. The tiki bar and pool were nice and the food at the restaurant was delicious!

Everything was wonderful. The front desk staff, the Tiki bar staff (Tammy) and the inside dining were all very pleasant! The food was good. The grounds were clean (even the beach). We will be coming back again!

This hotel was decent, view was beautiful, location was convenient. I dont really consider this the best option for a family vacation, this is more of a business trip hotel. I especially did not like the balcony that you could not sit on and how it was not clear in the listing that this was not a full balcony. Also didnt like the lack of a microwave and full size fridge..which was available in the listing details but still takes away from a family vacation. When you check in, they charge you 277 even when you paid for the room already so be prepared. This is for a deposit and daily parking fee. The beach umbrellas and chairs can be charged to the room for 15/hr or 45 for the day, which is convenient. High but usual for beach rentals. Housekeeping didnt get to our room until around 1pm daily so did not take advantage of that. Hotel room looked like it was in need of remodel. Very weird decor, cracked baseboards etc. Not a bad hotel at all but for family vacation there may be better options.

The best part of our stay was the location. We had a beach view and beach access. Room service was disappointing. Just a simple thing such as asking for two coffee cups and only getting one--especially with a 22% gratuity and $4 delivery charge added--left us wishing we had walked across the street to McDonald's. Our anniversary dinner was equally lackluster. Even after returning the steak to the kitchen, the cook on the steak was never right. Our server was pleasant, however. Overall, the next time we search for an oceanside hotel, it will not be this one.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Melbourne. The staff were really friendly, and the property was really clean. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they didn’t have any microwaves in the rooms nor did they have a community microwave for us to use. We were traveling with. 2 younger children, who never finish their meals. It would have been nice to be able to heat their leftovers up somewhere.

The hotel was pretty clean staff was nice and friendly. When we were checking the beds to make sure we weren’t leaving anything behind I noticed some blood spots on the blanket which I found disturbing
