Extended Stay America Suites Long Island Melville

Problems with the room: the lock on the bathroom door didn’t work and there was no cold water coming out of the bathroom sink. Also, no shampoo or conditioner – I had to go to the front desk, and they only had a shampoo bar, which was very poor and no conditioner. Lastly, the cord on the phone came out of the receiver and wouldn’t click back in, which disconnected my phone call with the front desk when they called to check in to see if everything was OK.

Cleanliness and staff was very nice

German roaches those sukers are practically impossible to eradicate so check your luggage b4 entering your house

Room needed updating. Kitchen area countertops were water logged and swollen. Cabinets were all chipped and doors were broken. Bathroom door didn’t open fully because it hit the kitchen counter top that was swollen due to water. Bathroom vinyl flooring was loose. Fiberglass tub was cracked Just seemed like there was bums hanging around the front lobby and outside the front door. Also a non smoking facility but the hallways smelt badly of weed. Horrible to be staying with my 8 year old. I want a refund. No wonder it was half the price as all the other hotels

Staff was not very helpful.

Breakfast, pkg. tiny muffin and pump coffee to go. Tiniest bar of soap, clean towels, two plastic cups. The cost wasn't worth our stay!

We killed several roaches in both rooms.

Outside was clean and nice The floors in the room were dirty , my white socks were black from floor , allot of people screaming of sex all night long , terrible

The “free breakfast” was also very misleading. It consisted of only tea, coffee, and muffins, which hardly qualifies as breakfast. Overall, I would not recommend staying here due to the poor hospitality and lack of family-friendly accommodations.

Nothing room was not ready . Arrived 5:30 not available told to come back in 20 minutes. Went to dinner came back at 7 pm no room . By 9 :30 still fighting with AI and CSR. Had to pay $ 300 more for Hilton They could ‘ve lived up to their commitment for a room reservation.

Questionable people in the vicinity Lack of a/c in lobby and hallways. Less than basic amenities Lumpy beds

It was clean with hot water.

I found a roach in kitchen. The elvetor smell of dog pee.i let guy know in front desk this. And if I found any bugs in my suitcases. You’re going to know. Going want a refund

This place smelled disgusting, the floors were sticky, the tub had stagnant water in it and looked dirty, the appliances were old and the fire alarm kept blinking in red.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

There’s a stench inside in the hallways and the room that wouldn’t go away no matter how long I kept window open.
