Gardentree Hotels Memphis East near I 40

Found roach in both bed and bathroom, for the price and location really can’t be too mad. Plus, the staff was great got me another room without any problem, but the batteries on door dies got locked out room and was told the 50 deposit would be returned and as of yet has not been.

This is the seediest place I have ever stayed (I’ve spent ~ 1500 nights in hotels so far). I didn’t expect much for the price, but I got even less. The toilet didn’t flush, and the sink didn’t drain. The walls and the trim were filthy. It was so sketchy that I locked myself in the room, ordered Uber Eats, and checked out at 6:00 am. If you’re passing through Memphis pick someplace else!

I went to co check in and they didn’t have my room I booked so they put me in a different room for the night and the bathroom was gross and seen a cockroach crawling in the bathroom and the tv didn’t work I went and told the front desk worker he seemed like he didn’t care and I requested a refund and they refused to give me one when I’m not gonna stay in a hotel that’s gross

It's not a pleasant place. There's no air in the "lobby" or the corridor to the rooms. There's an overwhelming smell of Marijuana that wafts through the air. The staff is a bit rude. The toilet needed repair. They charge a $50 CASH deposit on non-smoking rooms while the linen is covered in cigarette burns?? Every picture used for their advertisement is NOT ANYWHERE ACCURATE!!

This whole place is absolutely trifling, disgusting, abnormal, ugly, nasty, the worst hotel in my whole life. Do not go here. They faked their photos. + They have mold on the roof, and bugs and roaches, and used towels. They didn't have anything they said. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Our bathroom was filthy, floors were filth There was hair in the shower and on the mirror in the bathroom The staff could not speak English well so he kept getting frustrated with us

Booked this hotel online as a book now, pay later. Got there to check in and it felt like I walked into a sauna. I get to the desk for the attendant to point at a piece of paper that said they only except cash. I told them to cancel my reservation as I did not have cash AND THEY HAD NO ATM. This was not told to me on the front end. 2 days later I get a $280 charge on my card for being a no show. I disputed it with my bank and this hotel denied the claim. They are thieves.

The price I did not get the room I booked and the tv did not work. There were roaches crawling everywhere. The elevator did not work and I was placed on the 4th floor with my pregnant wife.

Not much. It was close to the area I wanted tho. The only staff was when I checked in/out. They demanded a $50.00 CASH deposit for incendentals. I had to go find a bank that would take my card and go vack to check in. At check out I had to demand my deposit be returned to me. They had every intention of keeping it (Cash deposit???) I will never stay in this dump again.
