Red Roof Inn Memphis East

The room was comfortable but needed maintenance. The refrigerator didn't work, the bath tub needed upgrading, no roller in the toilet paper holder, graffiti on the signs fo the rooms, people roaming around the property, and on person actually camped out by the stairwell. One ice machine in the other building, one vending drink machine that was out of order. I will not be back.

Water pressure for the shower was the high lite of the stay. The room was a total wreck. The flooring torn up and stuck down in areas with duct tape. Loose tiles kept tripping us. The room was not very clean. I found black Beatles in my bed under the blankets. This whole facility is in need of a complete over haul. We chose this Motel chain because my sister in law swears by them as she travels alot and has never had a bad experience. On the other hand, we will never stay at another red roof inn due to this experience.

Exceptional

Location Dead roach in bathroom. Bathroom door didn't close. Bathroom door had peeling paint, like half. Carpet was disgusting.

not at all

First room, the AC was hanging off the wall and TV didn't work. Talked to mgr and switched rooms, TV worked but sink was cracked and leaking, AC made all kinds of noises along with all the other noises outside. Rooms are dinghy and dirty and trash was piled up everywhere on the property.
