Location Smell and there was grasshopper inside my room that freaked out my daughter

The room was very comfortable. The welcome was fantastic - so friendly. The location was perfect and very beautiful overlooking the Mississippi. The freshly baked cookies were a welcome surprise. The neighbourhood was charming and we felt very safe. The breakfast on the other side of the road was a bit of a letdown considering the standard of the hotel.

This hotel is horrible. Do not stay here. Tiny outdated room with damp sheets. Elevator and lobby smelled. All around horrible.

A few changes that took away a little of the quaintness but still an amazing place to stay.

I work for a Viking cruise ship, so when we stay overnight on the ports I reserve a hotel to stay out. And was a great choice The bathroom floor was a little slippery when showering and the bathtub.

Great location. In sight of the mighty Mississippi River. Walking trail right across the street
-
Beautiful place and quiet. Felt safe close to the interstate but no highway noise.

We prefer this to the Peabody which is the only other hotel we have stayed with in Memphis. Safer place to stay in Memphis and for this we are grateful. Do not hesitate to choose this place to stay. And the free cocktail in the evening and breakfast is a terrific combination. I almost forgot the turndown service and free lobby cookies and fruit infused water! Highly Recommend.

The entire staff are kind and very helpful. The rooms are well maintained. We look forward to returning to this property when visiting Memphis. ( this was our fourth stay here.) Thank you again, all River Inn staff!
