The staff was awesome. The room was clean but had a smell. The pool wasn't working. First night was good but second night was very scary. I pulled up to the hotel and there were about 40 young people outside the front door so I parked in the back. It was 5 guys roaming in the back then they went in the back door which was broken. One guy came from the front and was trying to hide a big gun. I was terrified!!!!! They had been outside the front door for 3 hours. I'm black so it's not about race.

The lobby was dim and old looking, the elevator was dirty, smoke detector hanging from the ceiling with wires showing, the bed looked dirty, the bathroom floor was worn and faded, and the room was the worst I have ever experienced. Guest were complaining!

Ice machine did not work. Room 111 the light between beds was in strobe effect. Had to wait 7 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check in. When i went back to tell them about the light had to wait another six minutes. Shower was no pressure. No light in pole lamp. Not the quality you would think from Spring Hill properties. Will not go back and defintely would tell others to find somewhere else. Also the fridge / freezer part had ice built up to at least four inches around.

Customer service was horrible. We got in the room and the bed sheets were filthy we had to get new ones. The tv never worked. Man said he had to call Customer service and NEVER CAME BACK. Online its said it had a pool.The pool was half filled. THE WORST!

When we got to the hotel they told us we didn't have a room because of s power outage, but they were clearly other guests there, they just sold our room.

The check in person was terrible. She was sweet but had no knowledge of the business. I paid beforehand and was charged twice for incidentals. The first room had one pillow and no remote and I was told the tvs were down. Then tried to shower and the water didn’t work. Had to be switched to another room and then all of a sudden it comes with a remote and working tv. First and last visit to this establishment. Oh and the indoor pool looked like something abandoned from a horror film.

My room here was canceled by the hotel and I was unaware. My family and I drove over 500 miles to Tennessee and we didn’t have a room to stay in. Spring Hill Suites Memphis East- Galleria owes me for my complete hotel stay. I have an email that was sent on 11/11/25 stating that they had to urgently cancel my room for an unforeseen event that has occurred with the military. They stated that they have sent the cancellation to Expedia advising as this was not a personal cancellation. This is totally on the hotel itself. This property was absolutely disgusting. The room was old and nasty. The paint was piling off the walls. There were cracks in the ceiling. Everything was either rusty and dirty. The room had an awful smell. The bedding, the floors and the furniture looked decades old and so nasty. Immediately left the room and requested a FULL refund… still waiting on the funds to release from my credit card. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! The pictures are deceitful!

It was filthy, smelled like cigarette smoke and the smoke detectors had veen pulled out of the ceiling. The second room they moved me to smelled like urine. The third one was clean, but the tv didnt work and it was very noisy. I will never stay there again.

The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was also very good, and we got a good night's rest.

The hotel is in Desperate need of a renovation the pool area looked like something from a horror film and the pool was oily and the water was dirty I would not recommend
