Comfort Inn Meridian - Bonita Lakes

Easily the worst room we’ve ever stayed in. The room was damp. Anything metal in the room was rusted. The tile floors had a film of water on them. The safety latch on the room door was broken. The bathroom door wouldn’t latch. The toilet paper roll was broken DO NOT STAY HERE

The room I had the door was difficult to open. I had to push hard to enter room. I arrived maybe 10:30 and there was no parking. The hotel front desk told me I could park by the dumpster since trash doesn’t come on Sunday. Well when I went to leave my car was practically blocked in by other vehicles. Luckily there was a smallish gap that the morning hotel clerk helped guide me through. Breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs, sausage patties available and make a waffle. They had hard boiled eggs, oranges, yogurt and cereal as well. The coffee was horrible.

Our ceiling was peeling right above the bed. Other parts of the ceiling were bubbly and rust spots around the ceiling. Room was very musty and most likely filled with mold. It was rated a 8.2 but that was not accurate. Worst hotel we’ve ever e ever stayed at. Will be reporting to corporate.

Popcorn was raining from the ceiling throughout the night. There was mold on the ceiling as well, which explained the smell of our room when we first arrived. The staff was nice, but since we were a "third party customer" they couldn't do anything without management, but no management was available. Couldn't connect to wifi, it just kept asking me to create an account, so I created an account, but then it still wouldn't connect. Overall, bad experience. Staff was kind and breakfast was ok, but the lodging part, the part we needed to be good, was not.

Breakfast was the only positive

Our room was humid but cool and it had a musty smell that we resolved with air freshener.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Staff is very friendly but the hotel is very run down old smell my room had no lock on the door it was broken off my room had a hole in the wall only good thing it it is convient for shopping and thr staff is friendly but it is very outdated

Do not let them give you room 320 King Suite. It was full of MOLD!!!! Not just an older hotel. MOLD

There was a hole in the wall near the ac unit, could literally see drywall falling off. And 150$ a night. Absolutely disgusting

Stayed for one night ... quite place ... hotel is old .. need more care .

After driving 10 hours all I wanted was a bed. It definitely wasn't the prettiest or nicest but the room was nice and cold and the bed was decent.

Good, clean room, excellent service. The building could use some updating, but it was all I needed for my trip. Thanks for taking good care of me!

We had to leave this property due to the strong mildew odor within at least two rooms I entered. I immediately turned around and told the front desk agent that we could not stay at this property. Two other guests were trying to change rooms for similar reasons.

Property was dirty! Bathroom was gross.

The room itself did not feel clean. The carpet was sticky in several areas and had numerous visible stains, which made the space feel disgusting. The bathroom plumbing was another major issue. Flushing the toilet was extremely loud, and a high-pitched squeaking noise continued for an extended period afterward.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The location is easy to get to and quiet despite being close to several businesses.

Unfortunately , the room we were given ( Room 303) had a severe moisture issue. The flooring including the carpeting was damp and condensation was pooling on the flooring so much so that I had to lay towels down to absorb the water. Everything in the room felt damp and by morning my suitcase had a damp feel to it as well. The molding along one wall was peeling off and had what looked like mold around it. I told the front desk staff about it prior to checking out and never even got an apology for the inconvenience. I am unsure if all the rooms in this hotel have a moisture issue as well; but, I highly suggest the hotel owner invest in some dehumidifiers for the rooms. 😳
