Super 8 by Wyndham Meridian

That was very important, because I am an eldery female and was traveling alone. I could not have made multiple trips upstairs to carry my luggage and my dinner up to the second floor. I have stayed in multple hotels this year. I often stay in Meridian as I pass through. This is my opinion. My expectations for Super 8 are not the same as if I stayed at the Drury Inn. The Super 8 is not a new or updated property, the doors face the outside parking lots, but it was priced better than the hotel that I stayed at the week before. There were no roaches, no bedbugs, no one hanging around outside in the parking lot, smoking or partying. The sheets and bathroom was clean, the ac worked, my door locked, the staff was very helful and friendly, the shower had plenty of hot water. The towels were not too thin. There was a refridgerator and a microwave. I slept in, because the bed was wonderful and it was very quiet. The Cracker Barrel is next door within walking distance, and there are multiple resturants close by, so I wasn't worried about what time they served breakfast. There are a few hotels in Meridian that I would NEVER stay in, but I would stay at the Super 8 again, only if I could get a room on the bottom floor.

Meridian has beautiful Churches. Shopping, dining, freeway access.

Beds were uncomfortable

Everything was as it should be the only thing that was messed up was the remote to the TV and the phone n my room burnt work and the bathtub wouldn't hold water. But other then that everything was great

The staff was friendly and helpful during my stay. However, I noticed that the property could use some maintenance. Breakfast was adequate, offering options like waffles, cereal, and yogurt. Unfortunately, our room had several issues that need to be addressed, including a missing smoke detector, a tear in the carpet, and some mold in the bathroom. Additionally, I found it surprising that there wasn't a hair dryer available in the room.

Clean room. Ice machine did not work. But not bad for an overnight stay while travelling through area.

Average medium budget hotel

Awful Customer Service! Period

Dry cereal/milk, waffle, and yogurt were the breakfast options. Don't need much but at least some fresh fruit (banana/orange/apple) or oatmeal packets would have been nice to have.

Will visit again

Great pillows, good bed - slept very well. Felt safe. Front desk staff was very nice. Even the late guy loaned me a charger for the night - very kind. Good job, all.

Not in good shape. Very old and outdated. Breakfast was a joke with stale cereals and a waffle maker that did not appear to even have butter and syrup. The coffee was awful (I took one sip and discarded).

Rooms, were clean, some remodeling going on. Ice machine was not working, and a few sketchy people, ( smoking weed outside the room so smell drifted into room) didn’t really bother us but beware. Wouldn’t mind staying again for just a quick overnight stop.

Try to avoid this place even though it is cheap. The floors and counters were nasty, and the TV remotes were broken. Towel set for only two people. No shower curtain. Breakfast is while supplies last danishes and coffee. No coffee pot in the room and the bed was hard and uncomfortable.

Ok for a one nighter. Was not impressed. Did not use any amenities or eat the breakfast. We did go check out breakfast, which was a few choices of cereal and some OJ. We passed on it as well. The staff was super friendly though. Think we may stay somewhere else the next time though.

The beds need updating. They are uncomfortable and squeak when you move.

This hotel was horrible, outdated, blanket had cigarette holes, people hanging outside, my stay was completely horrible

The floor was wet and dirty, it smelled bad, and the bathroom sink drain kept clogging.
