I have usually had good stays at La Quinta Inns. but at this location, the outside of the hotel looks good but the inside is old and tired looking. When we got there the staff member was very friendly and put us on the 5th floor next to the elevator because I had my elderly mother with me. When we went to go up to our room the elevator did not work so we had to walk all the way to the other side of the hotel to use the other elevator. It remained not working the whole time. The next morning we got ready to go and neither elevator was working. I called the front desk to see what to do. The staff member I'm sure had an earful from many calls so I don't blame her. When I asked her how I was going to get my 82 year old mother in a walker down 5 flights of stairs to a doctors appointment we could not miss, I was told so sorry. Thank goodness some other guest members saw us and helped us down the stairs. She had to rest a lot but she made it. When I got to the desk there was no apology or offer for a discount or anything. I guess they were not afraid of accidents and the consequences of any accidents to their guests. We will never stay at that location again.

Side note, breakfast ends at 9. We headed down around 8:45 and the main breakfast options were already gone. Go early for breakfast.

It was easy to get back into our room. It was clean and very comfortable The front desk was always empty. They need to add a bell so customers can ring

Make sure you check in by 2:00 a.m. thank god the staff was so helpful and went ahead and checked us in. I booked through Expedia so the hotel didn’t have my phone number to call and let me know and it will show up as a no show but you still will be charged. We had been at an all night softball tournament for our daughter and got there at 3:00 a.m. Expedia said you could check in anytime and there is a 2:00 a.m. cut off.

Savannah was nice with checking in! The room and the elevator. The beds were terrible, not comfy at all. The head of the beds were also lower than the foot, you could tell visibly and when lying in them. The bathroom door on the right side was so hard to open and close, you woke everyone in the room with closing and opening. The elevator popping and making a not so pleasant noise, not fun when being on 7th floor. But it also rubs and scraps and the door looks terrible from that with opening and closing. We used to stay in La Quinta's alot with travels, this one was disappointing.

The bathtub wouldn't drain by the time I rinsed off the water was half way up my shins. There were 2 to 3 inch black hairs floating. I don't have black hair! The elevator's kept getting stuck in between floors. It was very scary the first time after that we used the stairs I was on the 6th floor. This was one of my favorite hotels with me would stay at I think after this I will be looking for a new place. The staff was good.
