This locations was in a great spot that allowed us to walk around South beach and enjoy the beach and lively life. Breakfast was a bust but other than that the room was nice the elevator was petite but managed….

The staff went above and beyond when we had an issue with room security. They were helpful and understanding and made sure the problem was addressed.

This was a last minute getaway for my husband and I. We had a late check in and was greeted by Charlene. She was so pleasant and very kind. The room was clean, and recently updated and the hotel is convenient to everything in south beach.

*** they need to spray repellent at the top of the door entrying the suites. The mosquitoes are vicious

Location is good, only a block to the beach. Rooms were quite small, bathrooms needed work. Was an ok stay for one night before our cruise.

The room did not seem that clean. The linen had a stain on it but we still used it. We did not use the amenities because it looked unsanitary.

The room had one chair to sit and I outlet to plug your phone. Not sure that I will book again with the hotel as it does not have a all the accommodations.

No hot water when I wanted to shower

I have stayed at this property before, but this time the experience was disappointing. The property does not look to be well maintained. There was a mildew smell consistent through the lobby and common areas. Our room was not very clean. The bathroom was not clean. Dirt and hair in the tub/shower. The bedside tables and tv stand were all dusty. Finally the bed was the worst part. Very thin mattress, I could feel the base through the mattress. Sleeping was not comfortable at all. I appreciate the amenities but there seemed to be some inconsistencies. The breakfast was not accessible at 9:30, even though advertised until 10am. We received coupons for appetizers at the Clevelander, but they were not honored by the waiters. Unfortunately, this trip was not like the last experience and will not likely stay in the future.

Nice vintage hotel.The area is a problem for me loud music trashy people.Both the Clevelander and Essex house are beautiful property's its to bad that they only cater to low class trashy loud people.I was completely put off by this and will never return.Holel was very well run.

Parking was good value for money but overall Miami Beach is a massive cash cow overpriced everything please be aware of this we were not expecting to pay for parking and breakfast avacado toast and caffe $50 really !! Anyway live and learn
