I stay here all the time I love the Fairwind hotel as you can see I’m always there, and never had no complaints until this one time. I actually upgraded my room and all this to not be able to sleep for two nights because of the AC was broken. Woke up sweating throughout the night, I literally didn’t get any sleep at all. And I was told that I was going to get a call and they were going to do something for me, but never did.

Clean room, good distance to the beach, quiet rooms!

The best place with the best people with the biggest hearts! 10/10 hotel in south beach with everything you need and could ever want!

Pool was great, location perfect near Ocean drive and CVS supermarket, great room / shower, friendly staff. Bedding changed daily (although for a 4 night stay twice would be sufficient). For South Beach fairly good value for money - would recommend staying here for tourists over downtown Miami. We had a few issues during our stay, first being that maintenance guys were changing bed frames on our first day (we couldn’t get into the room on 2 occasions throughout the day whilst they were doing it - surely should have been done before we checked in). Managers resolved quickly for us. Day 2 cleaner was in room when we returned from pool at 3:30 - knocked a can of drink over floor. Didn’t rate the food / service in the SOLA restaurant below yet you have to pay an automatic 18% service gratuity - overpriced for what it was! My daughter waited 8 mins for potatoes after her salmon was given to her (which was overcooked/dry). Constant smell of weed (cannabis) on our floor in hallways. WiFi kept dropping out so had to use 5G

It was our 5th anniversary and as always we stayed at The Fairwind Hotel because it is perfectly located just walking distance to all major spots in SoBe. We go on a cruise every year and we spend 2-3 days in SoBe to start things up and this hotel never let us down. The fully bilingual staff is always amazing and kind. The prices are very competitive for its location. Additionally, it has a private rooftop pool and an exquisite restaurant in the garden area. If you are looking to stay in South Beach, Miami; this is the hotel you are looking for. Thank you to all the staff from front desk, housekeeping and the restaurant for making us feel welcome and right at home. This time around the hotel was almost fully booked so we couldn’t get a garden room, but other than that, it was perfect.

Great hotel, very clean, modern, roomy upscale rooms with very comfortable beds. Front desk, bar, and maids provided great service. My only feedback for improvment is my shower had a funny smell to it that you could smell outside this large bathroom. The waiters were not attentive as their tip is loaded to the bill already. The pool has no shade at all, and closes at 8pm when the sun is actually not bad. The heat made this nearly unusable even with the pool.

It’s Miami and you literally have to get ice from bar and the elevator is slow you may want to reconsider. They could have lemon or cucumber water on facility for guest that would be nice. The balcony is extra small and too close to other guest. Front desk you never know if you’re getting one that accommodates it was am wanted to get ice from bar to head to beach the staff member told me I would have to wait 20 minutes because they had to go and get ice and went back to her phone heavy set waitress. I had to go to front desk and had a nice employee grab us ice. The rooms are cleaned daily awesome but really nothing to do here pool basic food not good we opted for Uber Eats all in all time to find another location for us!

Very clean and friendly. It’s in the middle of everything . No need for transportation. I’ve stayed here four times. I will be back next year.
