Great place to stay

Very confusing layout. Seems to be linked to another hotel - The Boulan and they share reception desks. Signage for Liberty Park is very limited. Hotel very tired in places, carpets dirty in communal areas and messy but the rooms were clean, modern and the beds very comfortable .

the location of the hotel is great, direct access to the beach with complimentary lounge chairs. the room is clean and spacey.

It was really a convenient location, and overall clean!

The hotel is part of the Bulan hotel it’s a little dated but the pool is nice. Staff is courteous.

There was mildew all threw out the hotel pool was small and they shower water didn’t get hot at all .

HIDDEN FEES! You check in for Liberty Park Hotel at Boulan Hotel. If Expedia tells you the fee is $168 when you get to the hotel get ready to pay an additional $400 that they say is a security deposit that you will get back. The roof top pool is not at Liberty Park Hotel it's at Boulan Hotel. If you're planning on getting drinks BUYER BEWARE got charged for FOUR drinks and only paid for TWO! Hotel manager said it's a pending charge haven't received any funds back into my account it's been 3 days currently. Hot tub jets don't work the tub is hot which felt nice but would have been nice to have had the jets. If you're planning on going to your section at the beach again BUYER BEWARE/HIDDEN FEES they try to give you two beach chairs with an umbrella the umbrella is an additional $28 I'd highly recommend walking down Collins and buying your own umbrella cause that $28 charge for the umbrella is PER DAY. Overall stay was okay. You have to ask the people at Boulan Hotel for the WiFi it is NOT included with the keys they give you. Breakfast was included wasn't bad the 2 eggs scrambled. Trying to get cable on the tv is another problem within itself took over a half hour to figure it out they have a smart TV with direct tv hook up so best of luck figuring it out. If it's your first time going and you're on a budget it's not bad but if you can swing the extra money to get a nicer hotel would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Bad experience and waste of money

Carpet leading to rooms was full of stains and lifted in areas. Check in was at the hotel next door. Did not like that rooms could be easily accessed by anyone wandering on the street. Have to go to hotel next door, use their elevators to get to rooftop pool. Sewer smell from restroom on one of our nights. On site restaurant not open Mon-Wed during our stay. Gym very minimal and used for storage. Cold water available at gym was nice. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. More like a 2. Benefit that beach was across the street. However construction ongoing throughout the day. So day at beach drowned out by drilling, banging noises. This area of beach full of seaweed. Shower door did not close properly and water leaked out during every use. Walls very thin, could hear neighbors on each side, hallways and above neighbors footsteps were really loud at times.

Everything was great, except for this year fact that I smelt mildew throughout the entire first floor of the property. The staff was amazing… However, that smell could not get out of my head and was concerning.

The location was great I booked a room for 3 people and they kept insisting that I had booked only for 2 even though it clearly showed 3 on my booking.com app. Once this was resolved, we were shown to the room and the room was at 72, we couldn't change the temp on our own. We called in the maintenance which took forever and he said that he has fixed it. The room temp never dropped, it was still 72. The room had barely any toiletries amenities, no microwave, no coffee machine. For the price, the location was the only good thing.

The rug in that hall had dirty looking spots and it smelled on my side in th hallway. The freezer needed to be defrosted. The curtains didn't have a stick to open the curtains the man showed me how to yank it and never brought one back.
