EVEN Hotel Miami - Airport by IHG

The location was very close to the airport. Clean, and well maintained. Great place to stay for an affordable price.

I picked this hotel specifically for the airport and pier shuttle services.

The staff was accommodating and helpful.. The hotel was lovely and smelled amazing

The front desk was very friendly. The waiters and waitresses at breakfast and dinner were great! The hotel was clean and comfortable. 10/10 experience.

The customer service was extremely disappointing from the beginning. There was only one person able to check guests in because they apparently only had one working computer, which caused the line at the front desk to constantly be long. Even at 1 AM, when I simply wanted to purchase a bottle of water, I had to wait in a long line. I was also extremely frustrated by the charges on my card. Throughout my stay, I kept seeing random charges for amounts like $88 and $35, in addition to the $50 refundable incidental deposit. Having multiple unexplained charges from a hotel is concerning and made the entire experience even more stressful. The worst part was finding a DOG BONE in my bed. That was absolutely disgusting and immediately made me question how thoroughly the room and bedding had been cleaned before we arrived. I purposely left the dog bone where it was, and housekeeping came the next day and MADE THE BED WITH THE DOG BONE STILL IN IT. That told me everything I needed to know about the level of cleaning being done. Then, on the second day of our stay, we had NO HOT WATER. Between the terrible customer service, extremely long front desk waits, unexplained charges, lack of hot water, and especially the dog bone being left in the bed even after housekeeping serviced the room, this was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The proximity the hotel was from the airport and the venues I had to attend. Also the amenities the hotel provided that surpassed my expectations.
