Kompose Boutique Hotel Miami Airport

This hotel is extremely nice and definitely lives up to the “boutique” name! Look no further—we will stay here every single time we’re in Miami! Central to the airport and a very easy drive to South Beach and even the downtown area. Loved the valet service, the rooftop bar, AND the breakfast. FABULOUS!

As this is listed as a boutique hotel I expected its rooms, restaurant and staff to be of higher quality than they were. Bathroom amenities were lacking, restaurant food was poor with very little choice, staff were poorly dressed and scruffy, some even rude and blunt. The bed was on a metal frame which rattled every time you turned over. Although the room was large the furniture was sparse and when you opened the cupboard door for the first time to use the refrigerator the safe door swung open and hit your head. I will not be a returning customer.

Not a great location other than an overnight for the airport. Premises are nice. But nothing around the location. They checked me into a room that already had a guest in! Imagine their surprise when my key opened their room! Thank God they weren’t armed! In house restaurant was decent but it’s not like you had any choices off premises. BUT WHAT Angered me most with all the mess ups, even though checkout is at 11, they were banging on the door and calling the room at 9:30 for us to check out! If they offered me a free night I’d give them another opportunity to make things right, but I doubt they are organized enough to realize what a mess up this is and try to redeem themselves.
