Homewood Suites by Hilton Miami Downtown/Brickell

Good size room, helpful staff and standard American Breakfast. Good hotel for a stopover before a cruise.

Mari at the front desk was amazing! She was very helpful, kind, and answered any questions we had with enthusiasm! You have an asset in her!!

The (second) room was OK. The staff. The receptionist was surly and unhelpful. The rest were untrained, unmotivated or just lazy Take your pick. My “king suite with bay view” looked into a parking building. There was no juice at breakfast for 4 days (“the technician should come today”). The rooms were not made up 3 days running. My super Hilton Honors, pre-booked, digital-keyed room didn’t work. I wrote an email to the general I manager half way through my stay and got no reply. The WiFi was awful. I stayed here once before and it was good. Gone way downhill. $5,000 for 2 mediocre rooms for 7 nights and appalling service. 1 hour late check out. No customer focus at all.

Whilst breakfast included which we were happy with in the main, often they'd run out of fruit items, juice and yogurts! There was hot food although no variety! Room wasn’t cleaned for first few days, had to bring this to attention of reception! Even then floors were never cleaned! Its a very small spa pool rather than a swim pool! Also building work to the side of hotel starting at around 7am weekdays We were grateful for the free use of washing machine and tumble dryer

Hotel is in a quiet location yet within a 5 minute walk of the Metromover and Metro Rail Train stations and Bus and Trolley Bus Terminals making all of the main attractions in Miami easily accessible. We chose a room with a Kitchenette so it was ideal to have a large supermarket at the end of the street.

The staff member I interacted with was attentive and polite, which was one of the few positive aspects of the stay. However, the parking situation is terrible. The parking lot is extremely small, and the access is awkward and confusing. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience and would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

The property was in quiet place, walking distance to downtown brickell. The valet parking guys was nice I would like to stay there again

I liked the room and the bathroom was big. Didn't care for the location of the hotel.

Hotel was under renovations but the parts that were done were very nice! Hotel is located in an odd location but gets the job done. Always enjoys Homewood suits
