So let me start by reminding you, this hotel is not cheap. My room was over $300. So there should have been no issues at all, but this was not the case. I’ll start off by mentioning the elevators. The way they function is ridiculous. I was there with family and the elevators are not typical elevators. Not only do you first have to figure out how to use it in the first place, because they give you no guidance other than what your mom number is, it does not allow you to get off on floors your room isn’t on. So it was a whole ordeal trying to go to a family member’s room. I don’t like the design of the bathroom. It’s an open room concept and the bathroom door is literally a swing door, doesn’t shut or lock which is uncomfortable for kids. One of the biggest issues period was poor communication. Our room was not cold when we got to it. Absolutely unacceptable for an expensive hotel in July in Miami. My sister had the same issue in her room as well. I texted the number I was told to text with an issue and was told someone would be right up. We left and came back, still not cold. I proceeded to text the chat again & received apologies and then was assured the room would be fixed when we got back again. STILL WASN’T. Finally, I called the front desk and he basically laughed & said how I wasn’t supposed to use that chat & it never notified them. Then why was I told to reach out to that number & why was I getting a response? Anyways, avoid this hotel because I’m out of characters. SMH

I needed new sheets and a blanket…as you can tell they weren’t fresh. I waited an entire day to receive them. Picking up food from the few as fast and friendly. Location was great.

Rude staff, unprepared for check in even after waiting for hours, Tiny room with beds, toilet and shower (no separate bathroom).

We enjoyed our stay as we waited to board for our cruise.

Downstairs bartender was super rude. Upstairs bartender was cool but the drinks were terribly expensive. I asked for towels half a dozen towels and they never came. There is no privacy in the room with the toilet and shower set up from the rest of the room. The AC did not work in 2/3 of the rooms we got. It is an expensive room and breakfast is not included ( 25 pp ). The elevators were super confusing ( never ran into this in my 53 years of life ). The chat feature answers you but then you call the desk and they tell you they never received the messages even though you get answered through the text feature. And they then tell you to not use the chat feature but it literally texts you first! Definitely better options out there. Waiting to see my bill and it had better be right! Wish we had done better research beforehand and I now see they only receive 2.5 stars on yelp. On our return home now and the hotel we got this time is so much better! If zero stars was an option I would give that!!! Don’t book here unless you enjoy being ignored.

Awesome service . Couldn’t get clean towels, the restaurant, has absolutely awful service . Couldn’t even get a KNIFE for my STEAK. That I spent 100$ on.

I loved the retro vibe of the hotel! I spent a lot of time by the pool and really enjoyed my stay! The food from the restaurant was okay, I’d recommend eating out instead.

I had a great stay at YOTEL Miami. The hotel’s location is one of its biggest strengths—it’s within walking distance of Bayside Marketplace, the Kaseya Center, and the free Metromover, making it easy to explore downtown without a car. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and I appreciated the sleek, tech-focused design. The staff was friendly and the check-in/check-out process was quick and easy. The rooftop pool and common areas were a nice bonus after a day of exploring the city. My only minor complaint is that the rooms are a bit compact, but they are well designed and have everything you need. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a modern hotel in a convenient downtown Miami location.

The room was clean, typical wear and tear throughout the building. It’s a pretty cool place close to the arena for concert. Walking distance from a CVS and food. The beds were super comfortable and the staff was super nice and helpful at all times!

The staff were the plus for the Yotel. Accommodating and professional at all times.

We really loved our room as it was clean and had everything we could need like hair dryer, iron for your clothes. Breakfast was pretty good as well.
