I only needed to rest a bit before driving home to SWFL after a long flight but definitely did not match the images online.

For me, the stay at the Atrium was okay overall. The room was fine for a short stay of about two days, but I found the bathroom too small and uncomfortable. The breakfast was simple and did not offer a wide variety, but it was enough to start the morning. I especially appreciated the shuttle service, as it was convenient and made the stay more comfortable. Overall, I think the Atrium is a good option for a short stay.

It's a good place to stay if you have a long layover and just need a place to crash close to the airport for a good price. The check in/check out process is simple and efficient, the amenities cover all the basics. I paid for a taxi to the hotel because I did not want to call or wait for the shuttle. Going back to the airport the shuttle was very punctual which I certainly appreciate a lot. All in all a good value even if the facilities are a little bit older.

We stayed a night on either side of a cruise departing from the Port of Miami. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful during our two stays. The wall air conditioner sounded like there was a waterfall coming out of the back. Clean room, but the bathroom was super tiny.

I can only speak on our room (122). It had twin beds, one of which had a broken mattress that sloped down on one side. The room was very small with barely room to walk without stubbing a toe or cracking a knee on a bed frame or counter. The bathroom was so small there isn’t a counter in it. You have only the water tank top on the toilet to set things. Our shower leaked so bad when showering that we stepped out into a huge puddle after each shower. Positives are the breakfast is good and well stocked, but they only put out eggs on one day and sausage on the next. You won’t get them both on the same day. The hotel sits off a main bus line which made travel everywhere in the city easy. The trains, monorail, and buses run frequently. There is plenty of food and shopping in one direction (google ihop or denny’s to see which direction to go). The opposite way there isn’t anything for a long way. Staff was friendly, but amenities are virtually non existent at this property. A small snack shop with reasonable prices off the lobby, and a hugely overpriced “bar” with very limited basic food options opens in the courtyard each day.

There was bo elevator. Outside area was nice and it was quite. Good for a quick stay before going elsewhere

The hotel did not have shuttle service and when enquired they confessed the shuttle is only once an hour and stops only at specific gates and not necessarily where all shuttles stop. The property was very poorly maintained with cockroachs crawling all over the place. The air-conditioned was noisy. There was fire alarm during the night waking all the residents and the management of the hotel was very causal about it. I will never again stay thre.

I have a picture of my room at night. The room door needs weather stripping all around it. Hallway light was coming into the room. You had a poltergeist feeling looking at the door.

The room was clean upon checkin. However, the room was only clean once during the 6 nights we were there. The front desk clerks were extremely helpful, making dinner recommendations and changing our room after experiencing loud noise after our firt night stay. The air conditioner in our first room cooled the room fully, however, the air conditioner in the second room did not. Free parking is available. This hotel is located minutes away from Miami's International Airport and restaurants.

Poor cleaning in the bathroom and bad breakfast.

Even for a 16 hour stay, it was kind of terrible. Water was not contained in the shower. The bedding was sparse. The front desk staff had no sense of urgency. They were friendly, but not helpful.

We called twice for the airport transfer. Was told to meet outside door 7. We ended up calling again after waiting for a while to find out the shuttle would be a white van with “la Quinta” on it. Hotel pictures were not quite what the room was. Lamps on the walls didn’t work. TV took a few minutes to connect. Airport shuttle was not available when we needed to go back to the airport (starts running at 5am), so we had to schedule an UBER and pay out of pocket. No comforter on the bed, just a thin blanket. The safety latch was not secured to the wall. There was a lot of light surrounding the door when the lights were out. No food restaurants available and ended up door dashing food at 9pm due to not feeling safe in the neighborhood.

The AC was freezing... tried to turn it all the way up to 75 but it stayed the same.. FREEZING.. all night.. Finally, around 5 am we just shut it off completely and were fine until we left around 7, There are NO ELEVATORS.. it's just two storied.. fine if you are able, but if you have issues or tons of luggage, maybe not a good choice. The location was great in the sense that it was very close to the airport; however, there were not a lot of food options close by... just two really... One side was a nice quiet neighborhood but the other side was on a main road and surrounded by airport facilities... or something. Anyway.. just needed a place to crash for one night so it was fine... no fridge or microwave so a longer stay may not be a great idea... but.. for a quick, one night stay for a cheap price, it was fine.
