Quiet and clean No free coffee in the morning seemed cheap on the hotel's part. Room had only hot tea. I asked for coffee in the lobby and they referred me to pay for self-service urns.

Staff courteous and helpful. Food was good. Difficult to work lights in room. Seemed dark. Only one chair at desk in room. Really expensive for what it was. Rate more than double for weekend day compared to week day rate.

Indoor and outside dining and bar. Food was excellent. There was free shuttle service to downtown Newport and back, every half hour.

Pool, comfortable and great location. Really Great food…but food service was terrible, waitress training another girl was rude, didn’t check on us till we were done. I would have liked breakfast to be included. * very loud hallway noise, dog howled next door. Shower half door is ridiculous, lets water all over floor Since there are only showers in our rooms (I do appreciate water conservation) a hot tub by the pool area would be appreciated.

We really appreciated the shuttle bus and used it a few times. Larry the driver was excellent with his suggestions and info regarding Newport. Wish we had talked to him earlier than we did as we would have taken up on a few of his suggestions. Lighting near the coffee table area. A night light for the bathroom that is not real bright.
