Hampton Inn & Suites Sandusky/Milan

We made a trip this way to visit Cedar Point. This was a very clean family friendly hotel. We stayed three nights with two adults and three kids (15,13,11). Kids enjoyed the breakfast and large spacious rooms. The beds were comfortable and it was a great experience overall. We are returning at the end of the month to visit Cedar Point again and currently finalizing the dates and thinking of booking this hotel again as we had a great stay !

The desk staff were great. The room was large, comfortable and clean. There was coffee available 24/7. And breakfast the next morning was very good.

The hotel seemed a bit outdated and there needs to be more handicapped accessible rooms available. We had to be in a regular room with a wheelchair and it made it quite difficult to move around. They’re also we’re only two handicap parking spaces that I could see when I was told there were four because that’s how many rooms you all had.

We had a really great stay! The only issue is that we called for housekeeping to restock our towels once and they never showed in the two nights we were there. The front desk staff was helpful in getting new towels, but they also indicated that housekeeping should have been by at least twice. It was more of an annoyance than anything but overall, it didn’t truly impact our stay too negatively.

We stayed for two nights while visiting Cedar Point. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good the first morning - the usual choices - but the second morning wasn’t as appealing. The only other issue was the hot tub was not functioning (water was plenty warm but jets inoperable). Would not hesitate to stay here if we visit the area again.

What was even more disappointing was that I brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, and the employee seemed unconcerned and acted as though it was no big deal. I expected staff to address the situation so all guests could enjoy the facilities safely and comfortably. We paid for a relaxing stay and access to the amenities, but due to the lack of supervision and the staff’s apparent indifference, we were unable to enjoy them. This was very disappointing and not the level of service I expected. Children should not be allowed in the pool unsupervised so they can’t act like animals.

Was clean. Only bathroom for privacy to change and we had 5 people Sofa bed a little worn out sounding. Mattress pad and sheet Too small to stay on bed. Hot tub jets didnt work . Door to outside pool patio broken and Unusable. Chairs in breakfast area were ripped and Needed To be in the garbage. Staff were friendly and helpful. For the money and brand name Very disappointing

Room was dusty by the windows. Breakfast was decent. Hot tub wasn't working. TV was disappointing, they use DirecTV and was unable to watch NBA Finals since you cant access ABC/ESPN. If i would have known honestly I would have not stayed.

Helpful staff, very nice pool and good location

Check in was quick and our room was ready and clean. Halls were quiet overnight. The hotel was in the midst of renovations on the main level. The room was fine and seemed to have been updated. We didn't stay for breakfast (6am) as we were traveling and wanted to get going. No recycling bins.

Staff, were nice, rooms clean, but the hot tub is out of service until July....we didn't see the information until we look at the hampton inn website and asked front desk

Fresh renovation (still renovating the common area / breakfast area). Room still smelled like new carpet. Everything you'd expect from a well maintained Hampton Inn.

Everything Thr pool had some raggedy rough spots

Average breakfast, could have used more fresh fruit. Great staff, good value.
