Motel 6 Milan, OH - Sandusky

Overall, a pleasant 9-day stay. Clean, well-made room #219. Good breakfasts at Dave's Food Mart Avery within walking distance. No mini-fridge or microwave in my room, so bring or buy a cooler and get ice from convenience stores. This motel met nearly all of my needs, and I'll stay here again in the future.

The room was clean, the staff were great and parking was not an issue. We would absolutely return.

This was the second time I stated here and was overall pleased.

The staff here are very pleasant and helpful! I love that my furbabies are welcome for free! Thank you for providing me with piece of mind while I traveled.

Booked a room that was supposed to have a refrigerator in it for my elderly father before he could be placed in a nursing home. Found out the day he left (by ambulance) that there wasn’t a fridge in the room after all. I had sent him groceries that included frozen meals (there was a microwave) that he couldn’t keep or eat because of lack of fridge. Also the phone in the room didn’t work so if he needed to make a call he had to go walk down to the front desk (he uses a cane) to do so. Often called the hotel and front desk didn’t answer. Hotel refused to refund for the room which I requested due to them not providing the amenities I had paid extra for.

The amenities were not so great. No coffee pots in the room, no cellphone charging ports, vending machine was broken, no seating inside or outside the building. Asked for a not disturb sign so cleaning would not go in the room. Was told they do not have them but asked what the room number was and they would not enter. They went in anyway. Back door was propped open with a rock because key scanner did not work. Pool was closed despite it being 85 degrees in June. The staff were nice and helpful.

Plain Jane room with no clock, no refrigerator, TV is in Horrible location and EVRYTHING IS OUT DATED!

Our first room had a dog down the hall that barked for 2.5 hours straight. When i went to the desk to request a room change there were guests checking out for the same reason. The front desk was happy to move our room. We get to the second room and there is yet another dog that barked for a solid hour. I know this is a pet friendly hotel and I have stayed in many pet friendly hotels and have never experienced this. So on to the third room on the 1st floor. The entire hallway smelled like wet dog. When we entered the room we stuck to the floor. We got cleaner from the front desk and when we wiped the floor the towel was black. The room also smelled like a wet dog. When wiping the tables and end stands the towel also was filthy. The girl at the desk was very nice and apologized for all bad experiences. If you are looking for hotel that is relaxing, clean, and doesn’t smell this is not it!!!

I really liked how big the bath tub was. Everything was nice about the hotel😀

Shower was good. Bed was ok, mattress was thin. Asked for Queen but didn't seem like a Queen. No daily housekeeping but they

It is very good budget friendly hotel in a nice location. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. The room was spacious and had basic amenities like 24/7 hot water and comfortable beds and pillows. The hotel also has designated EV charging parking spots. Highly recommended.

It was a nice clean stay great price will be back in the future

Very small rooms TV didn’t work extremely small TV no coffee pot no mini fridge but there’s a safe toilets clogged first room smelled of cigarette smoke in a non-smoking facility got moved because of that. The hallway smells of dog toilet was clogged the desk clerk tried to hand us a plunger to fix our toilet our self, very uncomfortable beds very thin sheets and blankets. Didn’t change our sheets for the entire day which was seven days only come in and took out trash and replenish towels, and washcloths did not sweep or tidy up room all week complementary coffee in the front lobby was never filled. Do not recommend.

It was a very convenient location. The walls were Very thin!

Easy to navigate, right off the highway (I80) which was great, well maintained and very spiffy for an affordable price Could have been a tiny bit cleaner especially in the bathroom

- Bed was very comfortable - WiFi worked well - Close proximity to Cedar Point and various food establishments. - Some of the room was in disrepair. Lights flicker, flooring coming up (Room 111)
