This hotel is perfect for getting to and from SFO airport. They have a shuttle every 15 mins. Only reason I gave it a 4 out of a 5 was the room I was given was assessable with a very odd shower. Didnt enjoy that aspect at all.

Trouble started when going thru the gate which required a taking a parking ticket or showing a parking pass. Couldn't find the QR code for the pass fast enough and had to take a ticket which almost cost us an extra $150. Then returned our car to SFO airport and tried to follow the instructions they gave us to take their shuttle back to the hotel, which were COMPLETELY WRONG. It said to take the AirTrain to the SFO international Terminal, which l did, and then go UP to the Arrival Terminal. The AirTrain at SFO is at the top level and the only thing UP from the AirTrain is sky, You need to go DOWN two levels to the Arrival Level and then go to the center island and look for the Shuttle Bus to the Aloft and Westin hotels. There are many shuttle buses passing thru by the pickup point and it would have helped to know to look for the black bus with their logo on it. Finally made it back to the Aloft Hotel more than an hour after I left. After getting to our room, I was shocked to see how spartan it was furnished. Basically just a bed with a bathroom and a window sill with an office chair that served as a desk. Lighting was poor and gave the room a dark atmosphere, but looking out the window was even worse, which looked over some construction rubble and an abandoned fire pit. It was better to just close the shades. Hardly any real restaurants nearby, Needless to say we won't be staying there again.
