The breakfast cost was ridiculously high. Example, 1 old banana $2.50. Too many good options around hotel to waste money there for breakfast.

Friendly and helpful staff!

The reception was not polite when asking my name for reservation because of the Expedia account. My legal name is not the same as the account name and obviously I had no trouble using this service at all. Hope he could learn respecting personal preferences from online platform.

Aloft was incredibly clean. We arrived late and the front desk staff was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. [Abraham — at the front desk — was exemplary. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. Also, a very quiet room, which was a pleasant surprise with the hotel so conveniently close to San Francisco International Airport. The early-morning shuttle to the airport from the hotel is why we chose this location. It will remain our go-to hotel for business and holiday travel.

Room super convenient with long low bench for suitcases. Next time will ask for microwave. QUIET, GOOD SNACK FOODS AVAILABLE. Grateful for our 1st floor room.

Thoughtful floorplan that accounted for all my traveling needs. Accommodating and helpful staff, to support my itinerary. Great location and amenities with common area that encouraged networking, but also supported personal separation from the crowd without leaving the crowd.

Perfect for the needs

I could have given this hotel a better score if not with insensitive customer service I initially got from front desk woman about no breakfast during my stay. My booking included breakfast, but hotel did not have it that day and front desk woman simply pointed me to the snack/chips bar instead. She cared less. Not knowing where to get decent breakfast, I asked another staff member (black lady -lost her name) and found out that Westin hotel across is their partner hotel and suggested that they can just give me a breakfast voucher instead. Thankfully, she took the suggestion and provided me the food voucher equivalent to Aloft hotel breakfast. I had to pay the remainder of the breakfast buffet bill at the Westin but was all worth it.

Parking can become quite expensive, especially for guests who need to park for more than two days. Consider offering parking validation or a reduced long-term parking rate to make extended stays more affordable.
