Vagabond Inn Executive San Francisco Airport

The rooms were very nice, and parking was easy, and the staff was ok but mostly on their phones and not paying attention. When I walked in, they didn't notice me until I said something.

Stayed the night after a 10 hour layover from a solo trip in Costa Rica, it was perfect for me to get some rest and the area felt very safe!

Good view and clean rooms

Rooms are clean. But the rooms are super small for standard and the worst thing is you can hear even whisper talk from the other room. I could hear all inappropriate things from my next door and they linked 2 rooms with the door which we can hear everything and couldn’t sleep properly morning and nights. My first time visit last month was great because I booked for bay view in third floor and the room is pretty quiet and good. But I expected the standard room also be private and small, but even whispering I can hear makes me disappointed. I need this to emphasise. For the second night, I booked and slept at other hotel to make sure I get enough sleep because I have to fly back to LA.

The views are nice.

Staff was nice and helpful, they will provide information to how to get to Downtown with public transportation and restaurants nearby. They also offer a free shuttle to the airport. The room is not spotless.

Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended for us. The hotel is very dated and feels well past the point where it could use a renovation. The rooms and common areas felt old, and there were essentially no amenities to speak of. Dining options in the immediate area were also very limited. We ended up walking to Benihana because it was about the only nearby choice. If you're simply looking for a place to sleep before an early flight, it serves that purpose. However, with so many airport hotels in the area, we'd choose to stay somewhere else next time.

staff was friendly, rooms clean and location a bit busy but enjoyed our stay. just a heads up though, the elevator was out of service during our stay and the ICE machines were always empty during the day.

Parking was pretty good and I was surprised that we were literally right next to the water!

It was clean. The bed was fine. It was very noisy through the night.

Clean room easy parking. Nice staff.

What I will say positively is that the front office staff person was helpful and when we left 20 minutes after arriving they gave us a full refund.

I thought the bed was semi comfortable, but my biggest issue was. The first night there were a few loud people right above me between the hours of 10pm till around 1am. I know this is not a facility issue but it didn’t seem like the staff said anything to them and we were literally the first room next to the lobby, so I know the staff could hear them as clearly as I did. It’s a great location with lots of restaurants and freeway close.

Our room had a door that connected to the next room. It was boarded up on the inside but the door on our side wouldn’t stay shut. It was unnerving. We left at 9 am and nothing was set out for breakfast.

Clean rooms overall, helpful staff, great parking, genuinely just a straight forward hotel that gets the job done with no worries at all. 8/10👍

Older property, but well maintained. Close to airport. Convenient shuttle to and from airport. Clean rooms.
