The Millwood - A Boutique Hotel

Exceptional

Parking is tight but was always available. We usually love the quiet, surprisingly quite in spite of proximity to the airport. This visit was very loud beginning early in the morning, utility/sewer trucks were parked adjacent to our room and shook us out of bed early, when we were trying to sleep in for an international flight. The breakfast was good, lots of choices. Coffee was excellent. We always stay here when flying in or out and always feel safe and comfortable. The junior suite was a little tight, we were unable to get the family suite which is so roomy and comfortable. Always a good fit for travelers, lots of food choices in the area. Overall, an excellent option.

Passable

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the Millwood was. Our room was very clean & comfortable. I was concerned that we would hear noise from the main road, but we didn’t. The outside was beautifully landscaped & our room had everything we needed. Would highly recommending staying there if you’re flying out of SFO, it was only an eight minute ride to the airport. Also, there were plenty of good restaurants very nearby.

The facility looked updated with secured entrance. My room was a nice size. Free parking and breakfast. Quiet area. No elevator but staff helpful with my bags. Room was not clean at check-in (hair everywhere) but when I mentioned they cleaned better the next day. Breakfast was probably the most disappointing: Limited hot plates (the eggs were super salty), no options for milk, and no Nutella (my personal basics :). Overall a good stay.

It was a lovely convenient location to the San Francisco airport for a quick overnight. The breakfast was good as was the room. My only concern was the tile in the handicap shower was extremely slippery. Mat was provided, but still was slippery.

Superb

Breakfast adequate. I arrived at property approximately 1:00 pm. I asked if the room was ready and if I could check in early. I was informed the room was ready and I could check in for $25. For a room that costs $218 per night and only 2 hours prior to regular check in, I thought this sucked. Won’t stay again. Will discourage others.

Room was noisy. Noise came from people staying above us.

The beds are comfortable and I appreciated the shower was ADA accessible which really helped me since I require sitting down when I shower. The bathroom was very clean. I also appreciate how pretty the grounds always look with the flowers and plants. This was our 3rd time staying at this Inn. The staff could pay just a little more detail on the dusting. The phone and lamp were a little dusty. Other than that, everything else was pretty clean.

Location very close to the airport which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Parking right outside our room was super convenient since we had a lot of baggage ... All good

Everything was perfect at our stay at the Millwood, its our number 1 choice when in this area

beautiful nterior design very comfortable breakfast was typical for low end hotel when it could habe been more creative to match the attention clearly paid design of rooms bacon was a greasy pile of stuff that hardly looked like bacon - bread very tastelss and commercial

Really cute and clean and comfortable and safe hotel. Parking was good, staff was friendly, and breakfast was great. We stayed because it was close to the airport.
