You can tell the room was renovated and the intention was good, but some corners were cut or additional maintenance needed to be done in the room. There was quite a few dead bugs in the bathroom lighting feature a over the sink. The beds were very uncomfortable.

We were doubly charged because they couldn't sort out the platform in which we booked the room. Charged for "incidentals" as a retainer, but not refunded even though using nothing in the room. Find out upon arrival, another $40 to park for the night...in the hotels own parking garage. Nothing included, just pricey restaurants for breakfast. Caked dust behind furniture.

We were very pleased with our 1st night. Rooms are clean, staff is amazing and kind. Our problem was the second night another room has LOUD Music playing with Bass and Vibration that woke us up and disturbed our sleep. Security was called several times and handled it. Then soon after over 20 people came out of a room Arguing and Fighting LOUDLY. AGAIN waking us up. Marc Hotel is Fantastic unfortunately some guests abuse Hotel stays. I do appreciate the Management Listening and supporting our stay. Sad we left tired and the unpleasant night. Not sure how we feel returning.

Parking on site, good restaurants/bar on site, staff helpful and friendly, room comfortable and clean. Great location in downtown Milwaukee!

The only rooms left were at the end of the hall right next to the stairwell. I asked to be reassigned to another room after checking in to the first room that was at the end of the hall. I could not move immediately because of the event I was in town for but made the front desk aware of my desire to change rooms. After I returned from my event, I spoke to the front desk again about changing rooms and she assigned me a different one. I went to check the room before moving my things only to find out that the new room was also at the end of the hall right next to the stairwell. Talk about frustrating. I would have preferred that the employee tell me that there were no rooms left that were not at the end of the hall instead of sending me on a wild chase. Also, the A/C was loud and made it harder from me to sleep. Overall, the two rooms I saw made me think that the Marq Hotel simply took over the rooms that the Hilton did not want anymore. My stay was not worth the price.

Loved the excellent room design and spacious size! Housekeeping did a great job cleaning daily, but they missed the details after day one. For the rest of my four-night stay, the coffee stirrers and bottled waters were never replenished.

Room was big, felt a little "old" but bed was comfortable. Location was fantastic, easy to walk many different local sites.

There was trash left from the previous guests, something was wrong with the flushing mechanism and made a loud clank when flushing, no blow dryer, no bar soap, and there was a red stain on the floor by the door. It also would’ve been nice to have a reduced price for parking. Other than the trash, the room was tidy and clean. The staff were very kind with each encounter.

Great place great location

The hotel was beautiful and the room was spacious. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location (we needed to be close to Marquette), we felt safe. Beautiful property. Reasonable rates. Would stay again.
