Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Minneapolis Downtown

The hotel is an excellence place to spend time with family and loved ones. Everything was good except the breakfast looks good but few options which needs to be more options for occupants.

Clean & safe place to stay

This hotel is in itself very nice and is an ideal location for walking proximity to downtown Mpls events. We were going to see Leann Morgan at the Orpheum, but Pride weekend events were also going on, along with the Twins hosting a home game. This brought in all types of people, and the room we were given was unfortunately next to a very UNRULY, LOUDLY CURSING, & PHYSICALLY TURBULANT group that were up almost all night. Besides being annoyed, we were also a bit fearful, so we informed the desk staff three different times. I guess they did what they could about the situation, but because I reserved through Hotels.com I am unable to get any compensation or satisfaction for the terrible night I actually had to pay for! Also to note, this hotel is located on the edge of a sketchy neighborhood, so we did not feel the parking lot that is offered was a safe place for overnight parking. An alternative secure option is the nearby city parking ramp.

Nice place overall. The air conditioner on the 6th floor did not work. Complained to the front desk, and initially they told me it was motion sensing and because we weren't in the room it was not turning on. Went back to the room and 45 mins later it was still 78 degrees and climbing, with no windows to open, and zero cold air blowing out. I went down and complained again and they moved us into a spare room, which initially they said they didn't have availabile. The new room AC worked perfectly or I would have written a much different review.

The stay was great and not too far from the convention center.

Room was clean. Staff were helpful and polite. Parking is easy (front desk will provide you with specific instructions). Breakfast was okay.

Great location for Target Field!!! Easy walk!!! I wish there had been more eating places nearby.

We were here for a short stay, but the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Great location for our purposes. Will stay here again for travels to MSP!!

Very comfortable stay we appreciated the security measures at the property.

It wasn’t a very well maintained property. Wooden squeaky doors and not very up-to-date. It also wasn’t very clean. Had dirt and stuff in all the corners and hair in sink. I will not be staying there again.

Hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. 8 minute walk to target field was perfect. $30 parking might be a bit much for 1 night. Overall great experience!

Hotel was nice. Staff checking in and out were very nice and helpful. Parking was in lot and even though vehicles were registered with hotel they still gave a $94.00 parking ticket (on top of $30.00 parking free). Had to go back into hotel where they said they'd get it canceled but still might receive a ticket in mail and to just ignore it.

Very clean, convenient location
