Hyatt Place Minneapolis Downtown

It was a great stay! Clean, quiet, great location!

Loved the continental breakfast. Room was a great size and good and clean. Great price for a one night stay and within walking to event venues.

Convenient location, easy to navigate

Super convenient location, we were going to Target Field for a concert and it couldn’t have been easier!

The hotel was nice and clean. The air conditioning was not working in the hallways or lobby area, but the rooms were nice and cool. Breakfast was good and had a lot of options.

I made a mistake and thought I had booked the Hyatt Centric in downtown Msp which we had previously stayed at and it was excellent. I was shocked when I realized my mistake and ended up staying at the Hyatt Place - NOTHING like the Centric. The entrance to the hotel is quite disconcerting, you have to get in an elevator from and very dirty entryway off the street. The hotel itself it more like a Motel 6. Our room had a dark sitting area with sofa and desk - plastic cups for coffee etc. The bedroom was clean but depressing - big bedroom, comfortable bed and tiny bathroom. No chair in the bedroom which is odd - just very disappointing and not good value. I have to say the breakfast was not too bad - Starbucks coffee! Will be more careful when booking a Hyatt!

Check in. Did not even bother to offer to hold bags until room became available. Unlike other staff members.

The rooms were great! Beds were very comfortable. Amazing view. Front desk and bar staff were exceptionally nice.

It was near the stadium

The pool was permanently closed!! So if looking for a place with a pool. This is not it. That was the only drawback. Loved the place but I will probably pick a different place next time. One with a pool.

There is no pool. It permanently closed in April 2026. Also, the air conditioning in the common areas weren't working. It was hot. Parking in the garage was good. Lines for breakfast were long and it was hot with the air not working. The food was good.

Last minute reservation and was pleasantly surprised. Absolutely beautiful hotel with the biggest breakfast spread I've ever seen. I have bad food allergies and both non dairy milk and gluten free bread was available. Gigantic and very clean room for the price. I usually have a complaint about something at the hotel I stay at but not this one. Not in the best part of town but very, very secure. Probably one of the nicest places I ever stayed. I would highly recommend.

Muy buena opción en el centro de Minneapolis. Cerca de todo caminando. Excelente desayuno como siempre. La propiedad se mantiene bien cuidada. Calidad precio muy bueno. Las habitaciones son super espaciosas.

Staff was very helpful! When we arrived our room wasn’t ready. They had the same room just a lower lever ready for us but because it wasn’t an upper room we had signed up for when booking online they comped our parking! Room was spacious and clean. Will definitely stay again!
