Ramada by Wyndham Minneapolis Golden Valley

Pros: TV and fridge were bigger than normal. Bed was fairly comfortable. Phone in room to call hotel staff. Shower had decent water flow. Bathroom fan and ceiling were old. Room was pretty clean with the below exception. Room was quite. Sport's bar in walking distance with good food. Cons: Shower/Tub had some mildew. Toilet was low and small and didn't flush well. Bathroom was very small, air conditioner was very loud. Carpet needs to be updated. There was some kind of mechanical noise in room during night. ( Fridge maybe??)

For the money it is a great deal, good location close to the city and all the services at the West End.

Room was clean, decent breakfast, friendly staff.

Great stay! Solo traveler. Female. Felt safe and welcoming. Bed was great. Shower was hot. Breakfast has many options and the coffee was hot and fresh even throughout the night.

It was OK

This hotel was immaculate; both the property and the room itself were extremely clean. The room was quite comfortable, well-kept and inviting.

I was there for 3 nights and the room had zero drawers and no dressers. The cubbies were all knee high, so you have to either bend down to see what's inside or sit on the floor. With no closet, I just left my suitcase open on the table. The wall lamps near the bed are so high you have to get out of bed and stand up to reach them. There are grommets on the cubbies that serve as night stands, but no lamps sitting there that are reachable. The microwave is in one of the cubbies so to reach the buttons you have to sit on the floor. Oh, I found if I took the ironing board off its wall mount I could use the bracket as a hook to hang my jeans. The happy hour from 7 to 8 gets you a $2 glass of wine, but they couldn't find the corkscrew, so it was an unhappy hour. Breakfast was good. The elevator buttons need to be re-done since the lobby is on 2 but there's a star next to 1. It should say "lobby" next to 2.

They had remodeled. Didn’t like that they had no where to hang clothes. Should put something by iron to hang clothes. Take time to clean bathroom floor better in corners. Otherwise it was good. Have more meals selection than just pork on breakfast buffet.

I had awesome good time staying

Nice room, comfy bed, plenty of parking. Free continental breakfast was nice, staff was friendly. Honestly the only reason I knocked a star off was there no where to hang clothes in our room. We were in town for an event and needed to hang our dress clothes, no hangers or rack. Room had an iron and regular sized ironing board, but you couldn’t hang up your ironed clothing.

This was the perfect hotel for an overnight business stay. Clean, quiet, nice modern rooms, hot full breakfast and coffee. For the price and location you can't beat it. Close by to restaurants and bars so plenty of offerings right around you. Would stay here again!
