Tru By Hilton Minneapolis Downtown

It was a very nice stay. Cozy.

Hotel could have had some info in the lobby about restaurants and bars in the local area, that would have been helpful.

Breakfast was great Wish you had two types of pillows and the beds were more comfortable.

It was exactly what I needed… Perfect

Parking was very limited being downtown. Breakfast options were slim at the time we arrived.

but it was no issue and we found a spot in a paid public parking ramp that’s maybe 200 yds away. We’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

I had to order a few things off of amazon and them delivered to the front desk, who held them for my until I returned for the day. The hotel had one of the best breakfast setups and it was run by one of the most kind and very attentive employees. I didn’t catch his name, but you’re reading it “you’re amazing, and I looked forward to coming down and having a nice conversation with you” If I ever come back to Minneapolis, I will not think twice about staying at Tru again.

Target Field not to far away and Metro Tram/Bus stations just around the corner. All staff we excellent and friendly and breakfast was good to. Great value, couldn’t ask for more👍

Close to my work. Unfortunately, my experience was unacceptable from the moment I arrived. After a very long day of travel, I was given a room key to a room that was already occupied. I opened the door expecting to check in and instead walked into someone else’s room. That is a major security and privacy failure for both me and the guest whose room I was mistakenly given access to. Once I was assigned a different room, it was obvious that cleanliness and maintenance were not priorities. The room sensor to the door was ripped off, it was not clean, there was “fluids”sprayed and dried in the walls and headboard. The overall condition of the property gave the impression that it was poorly maintained. Combined with the security issue, I never would of felt comfortable during my stay. I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties over the years, and this experience was nowhere near the standard I associate with the Hilton brand. This hotel needs significant improvement in both housekeeping and guest safety procedures.

Great stay

The room’s air conditioner quit working after we went to bed. The temperature rose to 82.2 degrees in the room. The room phone did not connect to the front desk, so I had to Google the phone number for the front desk to speak with someone. 15 rings later, they told me they couldn’t get anyone to fix it until morning, we could always change rooms, but we’re already unpacked and in bed. In the morning, I asked for a full refund because we were sweltering the entire night. A manager named Derek said he would take care of it. I haven’t heard anything or seen anything since.

Great value! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Continental breakfast had numerous choices with lots of hot and fresh items. Centrally located, easy for walking.

Breakfast wasn’t great-pancake & yogurt machines out of order, floors & tables dirty in dining area & only 0800 in morning.

Room was clean and a good breakfast Room was exceptionally small and when opening curtain to look out the window, it was facing a wall. I walked into the hook thingys on the wall and scraped my shoulder. Valet info was not given even when asking about it at the front desk. We had to figure it out ourselves.

Great location, super friendly staff.
