Our room had dog food scattered under the couch. There was no iron or ironing board (staff admitted they had no irons at all), the lobby coffee maker was broken, and "breakfast" is called (grab-and-go) which was explained as just packaged granola bars and instant oatmeal. We checked out within an hour. While the clerk refunded our remaining nights, the property owner refused to refund the first night, saying he held it for us during fair week. He repeatedly dismissed our concerns, insisting we had "a way to get in and out," completely ignoring the massive inconvenience of having no key, the serious security risk, the filth, and the broken amenities. Save yourself the money & trouble. 1 hour cost us about $150+

When we arrived, our room door was already standing open. We questioned the front desk about it, but never received a clear explanation. Even more concerning, after returning from an evening outing, we found our room door open again. No one could explain how or why this happened, leaving us feeling very unsafe. By that point, the odor had become unbearable, and we no longer felt comfortable or secure staying there. We spent a total of about 30 minutes in the room before deciding to leave around midnight and drive all the way home instead. To make matters worse, the manager refused to work with us or offer any type of refund, despite the condition of the room and the obvious safety concerns. Customer service was just as disappointing as the accommodations. I would not recommend staying here. Between the cleanliness issues, the strong odor, the unexplained security concerns, and the lack of concern from management, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.

Dirty hotel. Dirty smelly room. No pillows for kids. Found dirty diaper under bed. Got charged $350 cad per night. I will never be back. So disappointed.

Pillows are small and terrible. They have limited extra bedding for the pullout couch and you have to go get it. There was no extra tp in any cupboard, and they obviously didn't even look to see how low the roll was. Its quiet. Pretty clean except the smell was like dirty feet in the room. Weird bc there aren't many cloth surfaces. Coffee maker wasnt working for breakfast. Staff who gave us our key was sitting watching TV covered in snack wrappers and we seemed like we were inconveniencing them to be there. Their demeanor speaking to us was pleasant. All furniture looks like it was bought from a closed hotel, beat up and non matching lamps. The plugs on the lamps don't work when the light is off. And the one light wouldn't turn off after it was turned on. Sofa bed is pretty shabby inside and out. Very high price for how dated the finishes are and uncomfortable the beds are.

Furniture was so worn Night lights didn’t work

The hotel was clean. Good service. But that being said, there are things that need to be addressed. The "breakfast included" is nothing like the picture on Expedia. There was coffee and muffins for the so called "breakfast included. The rooms don't have a coffee maker included, you have to ask for it and they don't supply coffee with it. I've never stayed in a hotel that doesn't supply a coffee maker with coffee. Lastly the pull-out couch needs to be replaced, when one laid on the pull-out couch one could feel the springs from the mattress.

Quiet area and bed was quite comfortable. Cost is also very reasonable Bad: Pull out couch hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time, breakfast is pretty much non existent. Prepackaged muffins, granola bars or oatmeal. I’d pick oatmeal but no hot water available…no problem, I’ll use my microwave, no bowl available.

We checked into a room third floor was absolutely filthy. Carpets were awful. Floors dirty. So they moved us to an “upgraded room”. Wasn’t as bad bed was comfy seemed a bit cleaner. But water running on the floor from the air conditioning. And lots of water. They gave us towels to wipe it up ? No one came to help. We wiped it all up and the towels were black from the floor that we wiped. There is no breakfast just a few bars and coffee. Its quiet bed was comfy the rest well enough said. Rated it a1 star

The room was okay, but carpets were dirty. Little to no amenities were available. Very noisy especially at night. No hot breakfast and very little "grab and go" breakfast provided. Bar was never open.

Kitchenette. The most unclean property I have ever visited. Old food spattered in microwave. Unclean floors in room.. Slimey tub bottom. Missing light bulbs. Unvacuumed hallways. Battered furniture. Topped off by a largely absent and indifferent staff.

Staff are very helpful, the rooms are great

Room 213 in bad shape. Had not been mopped properly and corners were dirty. There were dirty towels folded in the bathroom. We had to ask front desk for clean towels and helped ourselves to laundered towels in a basket. The towel rack in the bathroom fell off the wall. The tub drain would not stay up for showers and had to be held up to drain the tub. The bedding was poorly made the covers were worn and not in good condition. The walls were dirty and looked like it had blood on them. Most of the outlets did not work and the room smelled bad upon arrival. Overall not satisfied and will not be back.
