Hyatt Place South Bend / Mishawaka

The room was not up to par by any means. The carpet was stained in multiple areas. The tub had rust stains all over it and the walls were dented in. The second floor hallway was not good. it felt like you were falling through the floor while walking down it. the outside of the facility looked great. Inside... not so much

It was available. it was quieter than in the past. They were shortstaffed and one check-in person had to tend to the bar and other guest issues. There are always many sporting teams here and it does tend to be loud. It wasn’t an issue this time though. It would be good if they had floors set aside for people that aren’t part of sporting teams.

Welcoming staff, clean room and comfortable beds. Close to everything and great shuttle service to Notre Dane campus. Bathroom was a bit dated but was clean

Very clean and close to everything. Great area a lot of restaurants, stores in the area and all in walking distance. We would absolutely stay there again.

Parking was easy. Staff could care less that we were there. Exhaust vent in the bathroom didn’t work which was causing mold and wallpaper to fall off around shower. A/C was crazy loud and barely cool. Mattress on the bed closest to the window was caved in in the middle. The amount of dirt and cobwebs under the beds and pullout was clearly more than just a day or two old. Silverware at breakfast was dirty and the garbage paper straws dissolved in my $12 drink.

The hotel was very clean from the moment you walk in, theres lounging areas all around the lobby, snacks and a bar. The beds were so comfortable and the room was spacious. Also appreciated that we could link our phones to the tv and stream our favorite shows after a long day. Nothing we didnt like but not sure how often they refill the breakfast hot food, we tried getting breakfast once and the hot food area was empty with still about an hour before breakfast ended Other than that theres a lot of bread and cereal options, some fruit and yogurt.

AC leaked all over the place - no reaction from front desk other than, it’s probably the AC??? Last stay here.

My room had water on the bathroom water, which I thought was weird, then I took the ice booker to get ice and the bag inside was wet and opened as if not replaced after the previous guest, the glass cups had weird dried substance on them, the bed was too uncomfortable that I ended up sleeping on the sofa.
