Residence Inn by Marriott South Bend Mishawaka

Good. The types of hot food varied each day, which was appreciated. The staff member in charge of the breakfast station was friendly and attentive in her work. You could tell that she took pride in supporting the guests. My interaction with the desk staff in getting their assistance in updating my reservation. It was booked through a 3rd party vendor. But when the 3rd party vendor needed the on-site property's assistance for making those updates, and were contacted directly by said 3rd party company, they were not helpful in updating property information for making this change.

Superb

I liked everything about this hotel. The staff was very friendly and remembered me every time I walked by. The breakfast was great, and my room was quiet and very comfortable.

This place had a wonderful breakfast and the rooms were in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable and I had the best night of sleep here on my road trip with friends. It would highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through!

Clean, friendly, nice breakfast options

I got confusing messages about not being able to check in after midnight, which I tried to alert the hotel in advance to. Then I was told I couldn't again. It was stressfull, but it went fine eventually.

The room just felt dirty. I was then switched to another room, which was much better but had a dresser that drawers hung out and wouldn’t close and broken hangers in the closet and a partially sticky floor. Much different than the first time I was there back in April. It’s a very nice property and they allow dogs so that’s A Plus, but I was disappointed in the cleanliness.

Power outage

The check-in was easy, staff helpful, breakfast good for a pre-prepared breakfast, and room very comfortable. The only negative was that there was a clump of hair in the tub - luckily we were there for a quick overnight and did not need to take a shower.

Room was clean and pool area was good for the kids. Breakfast ok, not the greatest.

Good stay

The highlight was all the extra stuff at breakfast. We were very pleasantly surprised and it was delicious. My son was sad the TV was not working. We were there for a lacrosse tournament and he would have liked to watch TV after playing three games in a row. But overall it was a good experience.
