This red lion is not like any other one. This is a rundown Schach that should be avoided at all cost, and so dirty and gross. There was hair in the hairdryer. There was food on the phone. There was stains on the couch. There was crumbs, food and hair and a hair bobby pin under the couch. There was a used sock under the bed and the wall hanging was upside down with only half the picture and there was no pool usage. There was no water at all. It’s just crusty overall in the sand on the floor and our socks stuck to the floor.

Everything was convent.

This hotel was horrible. We left at 7pm and swapped hotels. The floors were sticky and dirty and all the rooms need major updating. The sofa had stains on it, bathrooms were old and had mold by toilet and in shower. It smelled. And we paid way too much. Do better.

The staff were excellent and helpful! Everyone from the front desk to the cleaners and maintenance folks were great. But all in all the hotel was one of the worst I’ve ever stayed in- the hallway smells like homeless people were using it as an outhouse. Rodent traps everywhere- wish they would maintain the property- it feels like it’s on the brink of just being abandoned and demolished.

No hair dryer or ice bucket in the room. Staff finally came up with an ice bucket, never did get the hair dryer.

A hot breakfast was served at the old Missoula Red Lion & packaged food was served at this one. Facilities / upkeep very poor- staff was friendly.

Very friendly staff! Within walking distance of downtown.

The staff were wonderful but the room was a little bit outdated. Overall a wonderful stay.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel to say the least. Besides the GROSS markup on price for the Missoula Marathon weekend, the room that we got was $45 at best and that’s being generous. Pictures may be doctored and no where near actual real time. No other options to move to another location because everything is sold out. Being from out of town and booking way in advance we should have got one of the few updated and renovated rooms but unfortunately we didn’t. Pictures and pricing were extremely misleading so after I got my room I looked deeper into the reviews and it is extremely misleading that the owner of this establishment knows exactly what they are doing to customers. The Pacific Northwest is known for its hospitality and honesty and frankly it’s horrible that Missoula allows establishments like this one to take advantage of people participating in city events.

The staff were pleasant but the property has been allowed to go into terrible disrepair with holes in the tile by the tub, it took ridiculous effort to try and enter the door which would not unlock and then was so warped it was stuck, the “hot” water was luke warm, the toilet ran and ran - when mentioned to the staff they were aware of all of it but were not able to do anything about any of these issues. We went for the Missoula Marathon as did many of the guests but instead of accommodating with even an hour earlier breakfast - it was not available to any of the race participants

Pool and hot tub out of order. Stairwell by my room smelled like pee. Our bathroom had mold on the tile grout, electrical tape holding on a baseboard, soap from a previous guest left in the shower, and exterior wall was paper thin. Will not return.
-
The room was disguting and it wasn’t ready for us to check in at the designated time. Overall a very rundown and dirty place.
-
Great location , stuff helpful , rooms are outdated .
-
Poorly maintained, the exterior was filthy and none of the amenities were functional. Don’t stay here.
-
This is no longer a motel it’s a homeless shelter and in very poor condition
-
This place is disgusting and smells like garbage!

DO NOT STAY ! Place is just nasty . They stuffed towells in the ac unit to cover the gap type ghetto hotel . Pubic hairs in the shower , everything in the room is 20 plus years old . Added bonus I didn’t know until i had checked in = it’s 1 block from the homeless shelter w vagabonds all around ( I saw 3 in the parking lot in the morning ) . Again DO NOT STAY here it is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in the last 10 years , just disgusting !
