Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Monrovia

Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. So clean in fact my son ran into the closed glass door. The restaurant at courtyard is already really good, and accommodated our sons food allergies. Staff was nice and helpful. And the location is great. The only real issue is some rooms vicinity to the freeway. I was surprised how loud of it was at night during our first stay. Unfortunately we ended up at level 3 in a room closest to the freeway and I have trouble sleeping with noises. We opted to pay a bit more for mountain view on the next stay, we were higher and on the other side. This cut the noise to a comfortable level. Someone else in the elevator was on level 7 and asked us about the noise saying it was so loud too. On the 3rd trip we were facing freeway but were opposite side of the hotel and the noise wasn't too bad. So light sleepers beware, pay for mountainside or ask to be away from rooms by the freeway. Only other thing was ice wasn't on all floors. Not a huge issue just inconvenient. I wasn't in town for a happy occasion but I appreciate we had a comfortable and clean homebase while we were there. Definitely recommend this one, I am very happy woth my time here.

Additionally, We only learnt while checking out the water was something offered complimentary while we were told by the person when we checked in its not.

Just the finer details or normal hotel services were lacking. Prob won’t stay there again. Staff doing their best they can. Beds were comfortable and ac works.

It was a good stay. There wasn’t really much to review as I was only there for a weekend and I was barely at the hotel, I was only there to sleep. But the room was fairly clean.

The hotel situates on a very busy street. You can hear noise all night long. I stayed there for 10 days. I made a request at the front desk for sheet and towel change on the fifth day, but nothing was done. No one did any cleaning or sheet/towel change for my entire stay.

The refrigerator is not cold

d booked a king room with a sofa bed. We didn't need the extra bed we needed the sofa. My husband has back and leg problems so I always make sure he has somewhere to sit other then a office chair. When they got there, there was a tour bus in the parking lot. Apparently they changed my room from the king and sofa bed to two queens. Check in person said they can do this. I travel all the time and have NEVER before had this happen. so beware you may not get the room you booked and paid for.

Very clean and spacious room with all the amenities you are looking for in a quality hotel. Beautiful views of the mountains. Comfortable bed and good nights sleep. 😊

Bathroom not the cleanest

The room was clean and comfortable. We were on the 4th floor near the elevator but didn’t experience much noise at all, even on the Holiday weekend.
