Pelican Inn Monterey

The staff greeted me right away and were very kind and helpful. The site was clean and the bedroom was fresh. This was a very pleasant stay and I would come back to the Pelican Inn. It is a short drive to the beach and Cannery Row (maybe 5 minutes through the cute downtown area).

This place was a good value for couple or family. Staff is very friendly and kind. I definitely would come back here.

For a little under $700 for 2 days, I expected much more. No pool, no coffee maker in room, no water pressure in shower, and I mean none. Just a roof over your head. Would never stay again, and would definitely not recommend!!!

The Pelican Inn is a is a very nice mid-level motel with basic amenities in a great location, and we got a good rate. I would definitely stay there again.

The suite room was modern, and clean, but a/c only reached the front room. The back bedroom was too warm. The website says there is free breakfast, there is not, nor is there a coffee pot in the room. You have to get coffee in the office. It also says there is a restaurant on site, there most definitely is not. We also think there should be stationary chairs, not just rolling computer chairs, for safety. Older people can't use them safely. Manager was very nice, but we didn't get room service, trash removal or new towels. Parking can be a challenge due to parking lot and space size. The suite is a great option, but too many negatives. Location is not far from town.

The hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Pretty bare bones accomodations but everything was good. The fridge in the room was a good size and having a microwave is always helpful. I didn't see a vending machine which would have been nice for water bottles but I didn't look for it that hard. I would stay again, the location was great. Right between downtown and del monte center

Cute little rooms, good mattress, nice bedding, well maintained with pretty flowerboxes out front. Nothing fancy, but the owner clearly cares about the place and takes care of it. He's a chatty guy, but really helpful and friendly. We liked it!

Great motel for a great price! Very clean and near the main area of Monterey. I would definitely stay here again. If you stay here, I recommend staying on the top floor if you can because the ceiling is thin and I could hear the neighbors above when I stayed on the bottom floor.

Amazing service besides the fact they charge 20.00 for an extra towel.

Great location. Near Carmel and Downtown Monterey. Nice people working there. Nice vibe to the place.
