Convenient location and easy parking. Rooms were clean except there was some mold in the bath/shower grout.

A nice stay for our Road Trip down Highway 1! Very cute and quiet spot!

The hotel was extremely clean, safe, parking is right in front of of your room. The office was very accommodating and personable. I would definitely recommend it, and will there again. Happy travels!

Overall, we had a good experience. The only thing to keep in mind is that the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working properly.

Decent stay

It's clean, staff was really nice and helpful. Parking was tight maybe because we came in late. AC is good as well.

The room was gross. Our sheets had it look like a blood stain. We called the front desk and they told us we needed to take the sheets off the bed and bring them to them. They asked if we wanted both new sheets not just the one that had the stain. When we brought them to the front desk, they never once apologized. I asked for a refund and was refused. I will never go here again. The carpet was disgusting and would not walk on it with my bare feet. The remote control was also very tacky and gross. Do not recommend.

Was super cute and convenient! Just needed a quick stop and it was perfect, downtown is right there just a walk away perfect for dinner and ice cream and the aquarium is only 9 minutes away. I definitely recommend if you just want to take a nice break from reality.

The property and staff were excellent! I booked 2 rooms, will definitely come back next year.

Staff was nice, that's it. Left early out of a prepaid room and had to get a hotel where the door could properly lock. Hotel felt dingy.

Great place to stay but received some attitude when requesting extra towels. Front desk said we already had two in our room when we asked for two more and made us bring our towels back to get new ones.

Mirrors need to be detailed , coffee machine was there without cups , one water cup . Light bulb out ,Room was dark We like to relax but no nice chair to do that in . Maintenance came by with the things we needed the next morning . It was ok

The cons; There is no daily cleaning even though it’s listed as having it. One room was great (252 - large with beautiful vaulted high ceilings)) and one room had a smell (172) like the room wasn’t aired out in ages, old dated carpet and drapes,, Office was closed when wanted toilet paper.

Parking was easy

The property is older and needs remodeled. There were no amenities. The wifi did not work for all days we stayed. When I mentioned it to the office the manager told me to restart my computer. However they had their wifi blocked so it could not be used on a laptop. If you simply want to sleep, the place was okay. Anything else, I would not stay here again.

The inn was a nice and quiet stay. Staff was friendly, helpful, and had very quick response times. Price was extremely budget friendly. We do feel, however, that you get what you pay for. The floors were fairly dirty. Didn’t seem that way at first, but after our kids ran around the hotel room a few times with bare feet, their feet were BLACK. The bath drain stopper also did not work so it made giving the kids a bath, fairly difficult. The AC unit also worked great the first night, but then started going out the second night. After some fiddling with it we got it to work and then just didn’t touch it for the rest of the time. But like I said, no real serious complaints here. All these things are easily fixable and we knew that things weren’t going be 5 stars given the price. In saying that, we would stay there again

This is as 2 star as a 2 star hotel gets. 1960s motel vibe with very few updates. Cramped rooms, old sheets and towels, plastic cups, uncomfortable pillows. It’s all very basic. You get what you pay for, right? And Monterey is expensive so you either have to book a two night minimum or pay $600+/night. The other one night option is to stay in these charmless motels on Munras. And to leave as soon as you can the next morning. On the positive side, the doors do lock. And the bathroom was clean. Star one and star two.
