Arbor Inn Monterey

The location is perfect. The property exterior could use a little paint and sprucing. My room was small and on first floor so definitely can hear the people above you but it was worth it for the price compared to other places!

Clean room, quick check in, nice stay close to the aquarium and main hot spots to check out in town !

This is my second time staying a The Arbor Inn. I love how close this place is to all of Monterey, easy access to the freeway, cannery row, and the Fisherman's Warf. The room I stayed In was smaller than the first, and there wasn't a secondary lock on the door. But other than that the rooms were clean and there was air conditioning, and ample parking to come and go.

The location is great, close to the Monterey Aquarium and Fisherman’s Wharf. One minor issue was that the bathroom sink faucet had a very weak water flow. I didn’t bother asking to fix for one night stay, so I ended up using the shower to wash my face and hands instead.

Basic hotel for exploring the Monterey Bay area. Staff was fine, except the woman tried to charge me extra because I left the key in the room Esther than bringing it to the front desk at checkout.

Older motel with dated appliances but well kept, clean, safe and meets your basic needs for an affordable place to stay.

The room was clean and spacious. There was terrible water pressure in the shower but we survived.

The hotel was nice. We only stayed one night. Wasn’t anything fancy. But it was nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Arbor Inn and appreciated how close it was to Cannery Row and the aquarium. A few things to note about noise: you do get road sounds so earplugs are recommended for light sleepers. Some of the rooms (like 134) have doors right by the staircase, so you’ll hear people going up and down all afternoon and leaving in the mornings. Also, the walls are fairly thin and you can hear your neighbors’ talk/ their tvs/ etc. It’s not flashy, but it was clean and comfortable enough for a two-night stay where we were out exploring during the day.

All of the staff at this property were extremely nice and accommodating. Special shout out to Jay who was able to make things happen for me and my family that I consider above and beyond. Would definitely book another stay.

Parking was easy and close to room. Bed was very comfortable!

Clean, quiet room, helpful staff, good location.

The staff working at the desk wasn't friendly. We requested for extra towels and she told us we can't have more than 2 and that there will be no house services the next day. Not sure why she told us this when we were leaving the next day.

If you just need a clean place to sleep for the night, that is still pretty close to everything you need and cheap, this is your place!
