Pretty and beautiful inn just off Monterey Bay Very comfortable bed Large parking lot Not really a walking distance from town

The room was big but photos on booking.com are deceiving since rooms need renovations. It was dated and noisy.

We are looking forward to our next visit to Monterey!

Having a front, street-facing room wasn't ideal. With the windows open for cool, fresh Monterey air we could hear every passing car. Also found it a little off-putting that our check-in was with a woman welcoming us from a remote location on a digital kiosk screen (even though there was a gentleman at the front desk).

Great propery, parking on location. Little bit weird was when I had to make checkin via video call in the reception.

I didnt like that they had black mold in the bathroom and that check in was done remotely

Great location and value. Lots of good restaurants to walk to. Pillows are too soft. Often an assortment of firmness are offered to choose from in a room. No choice here. This is a very,very minor complaint.

The bed was very comfortable - firm but top mattress was soft. water was disrupted for sometime but understand that it happened to all lodging - inconvenient if showering

First things first: Upon entering my room, I noticed, it was very dark. There is a small light near the door, and lights on either side of the bed. I wish there would have been more lighting for the room overall when I entered thr room. About the bathroom: There was a foul odor coming from the bathroom, and I'm pretty sure it came from the shower curtain. It was cloth. It really should be some kind of easy to clean plastic, as I am sure they aren't removing the curtains to wash them every time they clean the room. The other thing was the parking. My room was downstairs on the end near the office. I came back one night, and had to park in the lot at the back of the property. At least I didn't have to park on the street? Also, I requested to be in a quiet area. I was downstairs (fine). But, on the day of check-out, they began cleaning the room above me at 9am. I was trying to sleep! Check-in time is 3pm, and check-out is at 11am. They should have waited until I checked out! To the good stuff: The bed was super comfy! The fireplace was fabulous. The location was great. I would stay again, but if the odor in the bathroom is there, I will request a clean one. Check-in was simple, and the staff seemed nice.

Comfortable beds Good shower Room was very dark. There was not enough space between end of beds and the unit with fridge and microwave making it difficult to open the fridge.

Everything was clean and worked, staff was very helpful. Overall an excellent facility.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was beautiful, the room was lovely, clean, and very comfortable. Everything was well maintained and even nicer than we expected from the photos. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the whole experience was great. We would happily stay here again!

In a great location about 20 minutes walk from Monterey centre. Good room. We could hear noise from the next room but think it was more a case of them being loud All good
