Best Western Park Crest Inn

Oh my GOSH!! This hotel was quaint. No elevators, less noise..Made me wish I'd had more time for a longer visit! The staff, "Sterling" in particular, was super kind, amazing attitude, and greeted us with a great smile! The room was clean, neat, and pleasant to spend time in. The outdoor area was very neatly groomed, well kept. Parking was good. The breakfast menu did NOT disappoint me! For such a small hotel, the variety was beyond my expectations! Eggs, potatoes, bacon, packaged sweet rolls, bread choices including English muffins, waffles-U make fresh, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and juice that included cranberry! The couple who run this hotel have been here for over 21 years and have a PHENOMINAL "team" work ethic! Boss Lady-Manager was kind and answered questions from another guest with regards to the waffle ingredients! It's the simple things like this that make a stay unforgettable! Overall rating for me is a 10+!

No Lift to carry luggage on 1st floor. Very Limited Parking space. Bathroom does not have exhaust fan.

The price that Expedia quoted me was low, quite low. However, the price charged at the facility was $200 per room, much higher than the website quoted. A disappointment

Propery is listed as a Hotel but it is more like a motel spread out over hills and uneven outdoor terrain mext to a very loud road.

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was exceptionally good. Unfortunately the eating room was very small. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The only thing I disliked was the parking. To access our room we needed to go down a very, very, very steep narrow ramp. To exit the parking lot required going down a very, very long and again narrow alley way. Otherwise the place was great.

We stayed 2 nights and it was a nice two nights. Heated pool and hot tub after a long day at the beach. It was little loud in the morning but not too bad. Breakfast was great! Located in the middle of the attractions. I will stay again.

I'm kind of a hotel snob. I like things to be 5 star quality on a 3 star budget. I have this hotel an over all excellent rating although it is not a 5 star hotel. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels. It had an adequate breakfast. It's an older place but it has been well maintained. All in all for what it is I gave it an excellent rating. I had to consider that it wasn't new when making my review.

The staff was polite, friendly, helpful. The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was good. Parking wasn't a problem.

Good for one night

Faucet was not working properly, it was reported to the front desk, but it was not fixed. There was also noise from construction at premises.

Continental breakfast was fair, however, very tight food counter, where guests were squeezing in to get their food as well as tight dining area for guests to find seat to eat The room has very thin walls and was very noisy with neighboring guests showering or flushing toilets. Also, the parking lot was being repaved and it was very difficult to find parking on site. In addition, when I called front desk to inquire about parking lot, hotel male staff member was rude and disrespectful to me.

Parking lot construction made parking difficult. Could smell the tar in the room from all the new asphalt being poured.

Clean room and friendly staff. Location was great for walking and easy drive to downtown Monterey and Pacific Grove.

Sterling was at the desk and was wonderful. Extremely friendly and very attentive. Offered to help us in any way he could. He's doing an amazing job for you guys. Terrific experience.

The night person (man) at the front desk was so rude and very disrespectful. My teenage daughter was asking him a question and he was rude and dismissive. He was not helpful at all. Parking is a problem if you get there late, you’re going to have to park in the street. Breakfast was okay. The cleaning lady was so nice and friendly. Not staying there again though.

Clean room,comfy beds, and fast problem resolution with clogged toilet.

Everything awesome except not enough towels. I called them and took care of it right away.
