The staffs are very nice. Great location. Super noisy. Bad soundproofing. The neighbors from upstairs walked in the room for hours from 2 am, I could not sleep at all.

A great location, but extremely noisy if you are in a room facing the street. Especially since it was the beginning of car week. The noise was horrendous and although there is a private security service that could’ve stopped some of it it was extremely late at night between 11 PM and 2 AM. They really need to do something about this.

I gave this hotel a five star rating based on the Hotel staff and our room experience. The Hotel was rebuilt in the 1980's but has been well maintained. Some of the bathroom fixtures, mainly faucets are showing there age. The room was extremely comfortable and the view was truly wonderful. We had a corner room on the 4th floor. The noise level was very quite. The bed was a pleasure to sleep in. Continental breakfast was served every mourning in our room, which had a small table perfect for two people. We enjoyed the room so much that we spent quite of bit of time just relaxing in our room. Car parking was taken care of by the valets. Also, we used the gas fireplace to remove the morning chill, from the ocean air coming through the window opening we would leave opened during the night, while we ate our breakfast. We will most definitely be returning for future stays at Spindrift Inn.

It was close to good restaurants and shops; beautiful building; great architectural details; decor in room was very nice; private sauna in the bathroom was a nice surprise, although it didn’t heat up very well. No pool. Loud traffic on street front and noisy evening partiers across the street!!

Ideal location on Cannery Row. Very close to the aquarium. The room also had a fireplace and sauna. There is no AC so I had to open the windows when I slept. As in result I could hear all of the loud noise and music coming from the bar across the street.
