Very nice stay in room with ocean view on the 3rd floor. Wine and cheese was a nice break before going out for dinner. Pass on the breakfast. Good location and paid parking.

The description of the Inn is a little misleading. It makes you believe you will be staying in the cute house shown in the picture. However, there is a large extension of the Inn. There is no A/C, the breakfast was good, it is a quiet location, and central.

Pleasant

Great location. Walking distance to Cannery Row, the Monterey Aquarium, San Carlos Beach and the docks where the seal lions hung out. Also great location with restaurants and shops close by. We occupied two rooms on the first floor. The floors are thin that you can hear people above us walking in their rooms. Not sure if the occupants above us had a dog but there were pacing and stepping noises at 6:30 am and at 11:00 pm. The water pressure in the showers was weak. If you wanted a strong stream of water, the setting had to be set with the smallest number of holes and even some of those holes were clogged with mineral buildup.

From the moment you step into the hotel . The staff greet you extremely well . And there is plenty of parking on grounds level .

We have stayed at this hotel several times and it is just perfect for walking to all things Cannery Row.

The staff was incredibly friendly, there were no issues with our stay. However, you can tell that the building is old, and carpet is dirty. The corners, the vents, the the ceiling, etc looked like they needed a deep clean. Its a beautiful building with charm,

Our kids loved the continental breakfast. We were able to make our own Belgian waffles. The hotel is conveniently located, but if your walking to Cannery Row there's a slight up and down hill walk back and forth from the hotel. The weather in August was cool to cold, but I still would have appreciated having air conditioning mainly because I didn't want to open the sliding door since we were on the first floor. One other thing to note, one of the kids in our grou thought the hotel was kind of spooky/scary because it's an older Victorian hotel. I'm guessing because the kids are more used to staying at resort style hotels.

The extra towel i requested were in room. also the breakfast we good but need more tables for ppl to sit and eat. No where to sit when we went down for breakfast. That ice machine was right below window and could hear the ice scooping early morning

Overall, a very nice place. Staff was so acommodating, and location was fairly close to Cannery Row, about half a mile. Very walkable. Terrific breakfast in a nice parlor.

Great location for walking to Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf!

This was perfectly located where you could walk to the aquarium and cannery row easily. The wine and cheese in the evening was great and they had good options for breakfast. We are vegan and they had options for us.
