Wave Street Inn

The room was nice. You need a key card to access the elevator, so it adds more security. The wall mounted AC blew nice and cold. The price was great! And the location is perfect. I didn't use them, but they have some nice fire pits for hanging out outside.

The rooms were clean, and staff made every effort to accommodate our requests. The fire pits and snack bags were a nice touch.

The Wave Inn is as advertised, 2 blocks from Cannery Row, central to everything. Room was clean, spacious, modern, and beautiful. Staff was helpful, welcoming. Parking (extra fee) was so convenient.

Nice quiet location. Good pool. The staff was nice. Decent size room too. Felt like a motel. Loud air conditioner unit in the room.

Great location, cool style, very close to all the main places in Monterey Slightly noisy from rooms above, expensive

Location was excellent, Rooms were modern and clean but there are no amenities except for a fit pit area. No iron or board in the room, no microwave, no room service, not even vending machines. But they gave us water bottles at check in. Location still makes it worth it though.

The front desk staff is amazing, very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is located in a great spot and is walking distance from all the main stuff in Cannery Row. Rooms are nice and the fire pit amenities they have are pretty cool. Cons: You are paying for location not so much hotel quality. Doesn’t mean the property isn’t nice it just isn’t worth the cost if it were located anywhere else. Parking on the property isn’t free but is much cheaper than the surrounding area. Parking on the property is also not kind to large SUVs and Trucks as there are tight spaces and a first come first serve style of parking. More of a warning rather than a con, but there are birds everywhere and you know what comes with that. It’s not the hotels fault as it is located near the sea so just be advised that the outside of the property may not be so clean everywhere. All in all we had a great stay and a great time and we would come back here again. It gets a solid 3 stars but a bump up one due to its location. 4 total stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Location, Location and Location. Got an unexpected ocean view and Seagull friend / visitor outside the window which made the trip for our 5 year old.

Friendly and accessible to walking Monterey

Great low key place near everything. A little pricey for what you get, but that might just be Monterey in general. No fitness/pool etc. Room was clean and staff was great.

Parking was fine. AC didn’t work well, room was not completely made up on arrival, fire alarm went off in my daughter’s room, extremely loud alarm set by someone went off in both rooms, no hot tub, bad mattresses.
