The hotel was great, clean rooms, good service staff. Highly recommend

We stayed one night. The room was modern and clean. Pool and gym if we needed it. Property was quiet and we got a good night's sleep. Food was good (not great). Bartender was helpful (steering us away from cocktail that was an "acquired taste".

When we checked in we were given a 2nd floor room after requesting 4th. Then at breakfast even though I noted having a strawberry allergy they brought us strawberry yogurt. I tried to talk with front desk about this and was brushed off so I left a check in note for management. They offered to move our room but at this point we were settled in after a long/stressful travel the day prior. Management apologized for the mix up and offered to grab us a non-strawberry option… HOWEVER the next day we did not receive this option… or any breakfast for that matter. No offer to compensate us. No “hey sorry we couldn’t manage a different yogurt but here’s the other breakfast items you ordered”… at $400-$500+ a night? Won’t be back and do not recommend. Paid for the view. Next time we will grab a hotel off the water and spend the cash on adventures.

I loved the location and the balcony with the ocean views were amazing.

Close to everything. Very walkable. Great views of the bay. Room was very spacious. A/C did not work but had a fan available that I put up.to the window and brought in a nice ocean breeze.

Great location, friendly staff and the continental breakfast was just right to start our day.

Clean rooms, breakfast nice and nice location for walking

The beach view was wonderful even though partially blocked by some buildings on the beach. I loved sleeping with the door open to hear the sounds of the ocean! The hotel room was beautiful and the bathroom was fabulous and luxurious. The Continental Breakfast served to the room was a wonderful treat! Cookies in the lobby were a nice touch. The staff was polite and helpful. The only downside is that the hotel is showing its age, especially in the hallways. Parking could be problematic as the spaces are very small but the hotel is an easy walk to main Cannery Row section.

Great view from balcony. Room was nice and clean, nothing fancy. The view is worth coming back for.

The room was nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was in a nice location and very close to both the fisherman's wharf and Cannary row. Only thing I would change is the balcony rail is to high, it obstructs the view when sitting.

Excellent continental breakfast delivered to room in morning, and convenient non-valet parking.

The view from our room the courtesy desk was so nice and breakfast was great We had a very bad experience with above our room there was a couple fighting and yelling for a long time I called to make the staff aware and didn’t get through

Would definitely recommend this hotel for location, staff, and price point. We will be back!

Great views, location, and staff

This is one of our first choices to stay in Monterey Bay. Always a great time and we look forward to returning again and again. Location is perfect for wildlife viewing (nesting cormorants, pigeon guillemots, pelicans, otters, sea lions, gulls, etc) and close access to water sports such as scuba diving, fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The complimentary, delivered to room, breakfast was nice for those of us who just want to take in all the beauty outside our bay view balcony. (Even as I write this I want to be there.) Staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional. Highly recommend.

The view was amazing but the room itself was just ok. When we first arrived to our room, the towels were dirty with yellow stains. For the price we paid, you'd expect the towels to at least not have stains. As for the free breakfast, it's not really ideal if you're going to be out all day without anywhere to eat around you. Don't expect eggs and bacon or anything like that. They provide a yogurt, hard boiled egg, and a cold croissant with an orange juice. Again, the view is amazing, but everything else could've been better for the price.
