Cannery Row Inn

The location was good. Slightly run down and lacked any security with multiple entrances to the hotel allowing any one to enter.

I was a little skeptical about the keyless entry but actually got to like it. Had a partial bay view from the balcony and it is very close to cannery row. I didn't like that they charge 16.50 to park at the hotel which I didn't see when I booked the room. It cost 40.00 to park for the aquarium so be prepared. To help offset these fees go to El Torito on Tuesdays for 2.99 margaritas, you can walk from the hotel. Overall, a nice trip and I would stay there again.

The location couldn’t be better. The hotel is as basic as it gets. The parking lot is partially under the hotel, which I liked. It felt more protected from randoms looking for an easy target. Walk to several restaurants, touristy shopping. You’ll probably pay too much, but the location and the convenience are what you’re paying for. Don’t expect more than a budget hotel room, and you’ll be fine.

The location and easy parking Tired

This place is such a great value and it's location was perfect for us. It was a 5 to 10 minute walk to cannery row and a 10 minute walk to fisherman's warf. Theres a beach front park literally right across the street and it has it's own pier. The room was very clean and pretty dang big. The bathroom was pretty modern. Also the area was always really quiet. There was plenty of parking in their PAID parking. The staff was really nice. They were all actually happy to see us and as gave good conversation. We really enjoyed our stay here and are going to make this our go to when staying in the area. It's a great value in a good location.

The location is perfect and the price is reasonable. Located at one end of the main strip where the aquarium and dining are, but that makes access to the pier and wharf much easier. There is a convenience store 1 block away. The office has a nice coffee machine that can make a variety of drinks. The rooms are clean, but the walls need some attention with lots of small dents and scratches that have been painted over heavily.

I will stay here again. Not far from Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row. Walked to both easily.

Close to the beach, coffee pot and car watching! Aged property but well maintained. We will definitely stay here again for Monterey car week!

Solid hotel. Nothing fancy. Good location. The coffee machine is the highlight of the onsitw amenities. I would stay again!

We were a little skeptical arriving to the hotel because the hallway carpet/floors were a little run down. But once we entered our room everything was clean and neat. The hotel is in prime location, literally you can walk to everything you need. We would definitely book again if we are in the area.

The location was great. Walkable to lots of restaurants and the aquarium. We were able to hang out with sea lions and otters just a block away at the beach. The room could have been cleaner and security to access the building seemed lax. It would be easy for anyone to access the hallways from outside.

Room was clean. Reasonably priced and it is less than 5 minutes walking to San Carlos Beach and Cannery Row Shopping. You can walk through Cannery Row to Monterey Bay Aquarium in less than 10 minutes if you don’t stop to shop. Great location! We had a great stay!
