Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Montgomery Downtown

Hotel is really old and dirty. Dust everywhere on the lampshades and in the lobby. Both nightstands were wide open when I walked into the room. The light switch by the door didn’t have a cover over it making it a safety hazard. Charged for parking like this was a 5 star hotel. Towels were in the top of the closet instead of being in the bathroom area. I have staying in Comfort Inns that were levels above this hotel.

For the past two months I have been attempting to have the hotel send me verification that I checked out of the hotel on Friday, August 21, 2026. I have documented emails this information would be sent to me, I would receive call from the hotel staff, neither of which has happened. Did like that I was given inappropriate information!!

a very run down property. pay a little more at another hotel. i had a prepaid reservation for two nights. we checked out after one night, no refund but was worth the cost to leave. I am an ex Hilton employee. I am ashamed this hotel meets standards for being a Hilton brand. a dingy hotel, a lot of deferred maintenance. we moved over to the Renaissance. cost more, but a beautiful hotel. we were there for our son's graduation from OTS. maybe check out the Hampton downtown. This Doubletree is crap.

It was beautiful loved the room. Chef spectacular Raven the best. The parking and parking lot is awful. Staff came into our room hours after cleanup and put a table in our room. Had to ask for toilet paper had half a roll upon arrival.

Disappointing

The hotel was under renovation during my stay, and thus resulted in several quirks. The second night, my shower leaked, and Maintenance was unable to help. After moving to a new room, I realized that this second room had a TV (which upon reflection had been missing from the first room) and a sewagey smell. Whenever I exited the room, the door would not securely latch - making it susceptible to entry without need of the passkey. Generally, it would look at some point on its own - after I'd left for the day.

Pleasant

The shower water went everywhere on the the bathroom floor. The shower water was coming out the side of the knozle. We was on the botton floor and by the stairwell door we heard up and down all thought thr night and a chld crying all night long. I try to use a gift card for breakfast there anditnwas 100. 00 and they told me it was not going thought. Rooms was small for the price.

Musty smell from a/c. Carpet is worn and needs replaced.

The location was good I reserved 2 king bed rooms, got there after 4 but only room 104 was ready at the time so didn't go to the second 1, 302 until that night when returning to notice it was 2 beds instead of the king I reserved, called the front desk and chic had attitude saying oh well nothing she can do bout it but give me a manager number, was like wow and got off phone

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was wonderful and had lots of pressure. I slept well. The hotel was close to the location we were working in. I would have preferred a light blanket instead of a thick insulated goose down blanket. The cost for breakfast too expensive.

Clean ,staff was professional parking easy but need to pay.

We had 2 stays here, 1 week apart. The first stay, one of the elevators was broken. Both of us also got sick for several days from either the ice machine or water cooler in the gym. Parking is free, but there are signs posted to park at your own risk. The second stay, the elevator was fixed but made loud grinding sounds when opening so I’m concerned about if it was safe. We noticed this time that there was a downstairs area for lounging and parking. The entire downstairs was flooded with standing water on the carpets. Downstairs parking was also flooded and still dripping more water from the ceiling. It was not raining, so I’m not sure where this water came from. There was yellow residue around the base of the toilets. I got ringworm, which I believe is from the showers. Both stays, we had to wait a while before a staff member was available to check us in. The desk was empty both nights when we walked up. However, they were helpful and gave us free cookies once they came back. The morning staff for check out did not have this problem — they were always available and very pleasant.

Centrally located and clean

It was run down and confusing. The night staff was unhelpful and was hanging out with a friend and appeared to be annoyed with our presence.

Broken elevators

We traveled with 3 kids and wish there would have been a pool.

Absolutely nothing!!!!!! This was the worst stay of my life , Nasty!!!!! Customer service was awful.
