Staybridge Suites Montgomery - Downtown by IHG

Exceptional

We were there for my husband’s OTS graduation. We had many family members that booked rooms at the hotel, and we all were overjoyed with how friendly the staff was. The rooms were nicely sized and the location was very close to the base.

Great hotel in the heart of Montgomery. Within walking distance of the Legacy Museum, the Hank Williams Museum and the riverfront.

Great location. Walked to Montgomery Square, The Legacy Museum, Dexter Avenue Church, the River Front, and New South Bookstore. The beds were so comfortable. The pool felt great. Breakfast was ok. I have had better free hotel breakfasts, but they did have a number of choices.

The room was very muggy and had a definite smell, a mixture of dog and mildew. There were several larger stains on the carpeting. In general, the room just looked not very well kept. The dishwasher protruded from the cabinets, there was exposed plumbing below the kitchenette sink, the bathroom had a rotted section of the baseboards, bathroom mirror was peeling, no bed skirts. Not worth the price point of nearly $200/night.

You pull up, get key, pay$ park in lot next door and there is an elevator. Pool and work out room was clean

The rooms are very clean and the staff was super sweet and always willing to help if I had any questions and the breakfast was fantastic. Lots of options. Will definitely stay again the next time we are Montgomery

We found the staff from check-in all the way through until checkout to be extremely helpful very informative and attentive. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Location Needs to be better maintained

Hotel was as advertised. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The location is about a block from several bars and restaurants and safe to walk to. They have a nice pool with seating and a fire pit. There is a fee for parking, which I didn’t know, but may have overlooked when booking. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay In Montgomery, AL.

We only stayed for one night, but the area seemed clean. The hotel is within walking distance of a park. The pool area was fun. The social hour was a nice touch. The air conditioning unit had a musty smell that irritated my allergies. The water pressure in the shower was weak and it was difficult to get the desired water temperature.

I am a certified hotel snob and I really evicted my stay. The checkin process was easy and the employee was very welcoming, extremely helpful, and had a great attitude.
