Room wasn't cleaned when I arrived after a very long travel day and switched to another room where the AC WORKED partially. The room was not cleaned very well. This hotel defiantly needs to be remodeled and that carpet needs to be removed it was disgusting. The only thing that was good about the stay was the staff were nice. I will not stay at this property again when I visit Montgomery.

This property is very beautiful. The updated decor inside of the lobby draws you in immediately. From check in to breakfast and even refreshments in the evening, the staff was amazing! There was an issue with my room, and it was handled with speed and professionalism. The staff was always very courteous and full of smiles. We stayed on the 7th floor with a wonderful view of Union Station and the River. It was the Fourth of July. So, it was perfect to view the fireworks! Breakfast is awesome!! There were so many choices and great quality. I especially loved the speed and hospitality of the man that made my omelette. HE DESERVES EVERY TIP HE GETS!! Do be prepared to pay for parking. It is $25 for the lot. Handicap parking is paid through the city, and you have to do it on a QR code. Also, note that the beds are full-size beds, not queen size if you have double beds in the room. That may make for an issue with larger adults or older teens sharing a bed.

Staff was great, parking easy, lobby was well maintained and looked great. The rest of the building needs maintenance. Our room was clean and very spacious. But, the cushions were tearing away from the back and the lamp shades had questionable stains. The pool was the biggest disappointment. It was so cloudy you couldn't see 2 feet down, the water had an odor (lack of chlorine or properly balanced chemicals), and the temperature was so cold my kids didn't want to get in. Good location and the breakfast was good.

Great! Just had to wait in line.

Okay. I really expected better. The air would not get cold and the unit was very loud. Just made it really hard to get comfortable and sleep. The mattress was so old and the pillows were terrible. I did not rest well. The breakfast the next morning was excellent with a lot of things to choose from. That was really good.

The front desk & bar staff were very pleasant and helpful..

No luggage carts. If you wanted to unpack your car, you had to do it yourself - one piece at a time - from the parking lot. There was an American Legion group there with tons of motorcycles parked and crowding the lobby entrance, The front desk person had no knowledge of where luggage carts were. She said that everyone hoards them and keeps them in their room, so she couldn't do anything about it. Maybe there should be some kind of Aldi shopping cart rental for your luggage carts. "Get your quarter back when you return the cart." The evening reception was bad. The items on the food bar were stale and had flys all over it. It was basically stale potato chips, ranch dip, a picked over veggie plate that didn't look editable. The shower in the bathroom in our room had mold in the corners. Your virtual assistant sent a text to ask us how our stay was going, and we had't even unloaded our car yet. We were waiting on a luggage cart that never showed up.

The pancakes were cold and hard, and so was the turkey sausage. I picked this hotel because of previous breakfast at Embassy Suites. I will say the staff was amazing!!!! I want to personally acknowledge Kraig and Isaiah. They went above and beyond customer service:)

I enjoyed my weekend stay here. The check-in was seamless, the room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the food was delicious. We had reservations to do the dinner cruise with Harriott 2 and this hotel was only a 2 minute walking distance from the loading dock. The only thing I would be aware of is the parking. There is a city parking across from the hotel that is very convenient. It is only $10 to park. When we parked, there was a black female in a white car that had put a sign on the machine saying "pull up to the white car to pay." We thought it was strange but also thought maybe the machine was broken. Upon leaving the guy at the desk was confused when we told him. He said we should have just gotten a ticket from the machine to pay. So please beware of this if you stay here. Make sure the machine works before attempting to give your money to a stranger who appeared to be a scammer. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again.
