The entire stay at the Renaissance Hotel was wonderful. Enjoyed the Spa, the Restaurant, and the room!

We arrived at the 4:00pm check-in time to find that our room was not ready. We had to hang out in the lobby until 6:30 before we could get in. We ended up having to get dressed for the show we were in town to see in the lobby’s public restroom which was less than ideal and put a damper on the weekend. The only compensation they offered was a free breakfast for the following morning.

Room was great and front desk was nice Very disappointed with the House restaurant which is part of the hotel. They would not even look at us when we were waiting to be seated for lunch. They walked past us for 10 minutes without even saying a word. Same at dinner .We were told that we could not be seated without a reservation which was impossible to make since no one would talk to us when we were there at lunch . .

Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was not ready upon arrival at 8pm. Staff was not friendly upon arrival or in passing. Management was friendly as they had to get involved after we were in our rooms and the room wasn’t cleaned, only beds made. There was trash, dust, hair, etc. in the bathroom and main sleeping area. Manager came up to clean the bathroom herself. She was very friendly but stated she is not a cleaner, so she would do her best. It was nearly 11 before we could settle in to sleep. The following day, we asked for more towels and a quick run through our room again as only the bathroom was attended to the night before. The cleaner was on our floor and spoken to directly and respectfully. She agreed to come by and at least bring towels, but again nothing was cleaned or towels brought. Honestly, it was just super disappointing to spend the extra money for a special weekend for a birthday just to get the same living space as a much lower level hotel. Not a Marriott experience at all.

Very nice. It’s time for a remodel tho. Paint was peeling off ceiling at shower Area. We stayed there guessing 8 years ago. Again very nice but a remodel is in need

Room was very nice with great amenities and a very comfortable bed. Elevators were fast and plentiful. Our only complaint was the darkness of the room. We had two key lights out (including a nightstand lamp). I called asking maintenance to bring bulbs, but never got them. Be aware - there is a hefty parking charge - about $35 for self parking and $40 per day for valet +tips.
-
Best place to stay if you are attending an event at the Performing Arts Center! Enjoyed our stay with the exception of a 2+ hours delay in getting into our room.
-
Great place to stay. Great views of the river. Close to many fun sites.

Would return!

If quiet is what you are needing, there is a bar downstairs and even on the 9th floor, it is really loud. The beds are comfortable, the room overall as expected. Parking was wonderful, with valet, and staff was very on point.

Front desk valet and security personnel were all so kind
-
The front desk staff and the restaurant staff, at The House, were wonderful! Our room was clean and had plenty of towels. There was a bit of wait for our key from valet after it was parked out front. However, that minor delay did not dampen the excellent experience we had during our one night stay.

Everyone was welcoming and the amenities was a plus.

The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit for the most part.? ? ? ?? There was a smell when I first walked in the room and outside the room. I don't know if it's the carpet or what.??
